Keeps on connecting to the same country
Been trying to change servers but they're all from the same country. I don't mind not choosing the country but why does it keep on connecting to the same country 3 times.

you can’t navigate in the map very limited features
The fact that there's no limit to the free tier and it doesn't fully nuke your data speeds is just way too good. You'd be thinking about "what's the catch?" or "are they selling my data" but nope this is Proton. If they do something suspicious here, they'll get bad reputation for their Mail as well and that will affect their sales badly so I doubt that they'll do the usual sketchy things a free VPN would do. Will be planning to upgrade to support this product after some time. Keep up the great work devs!
Amazing fast very reliable FREE VPN. Been using it for 2 weeks and unlimited free VPN access. How i wish I can afford to pay subscription unfortunately i am poor but very thankful. I pray I can subscribe in the future to at least be able to give back. God bless to the developers of this free vpn blessing 🥰
Worst vpn
Seriously? So what’s the point of a premium subscription then? Never experienced that with Surfshark in 6 years as their customer. Update: in your response you said you do this for maintenance. Right, but do you need to take all servers in a country offline at the same time for this? Surfshark doesn’t. I am surprised that you think this is ok for premium customers.
The latest changes to proton shows their true colors, and that lies in greed. After having used their free VPN for years to get past geographical blocks, by selecting a country to VPN from, proton has removed manual selection, and now only allows a random location. It has completely destroyed all serviceability for free users, including myself, and I predict that instead of expanding their income, this decision will drive their user base to other VPN providers. Shame on you, Proton!
Been using this free VPN for a while and was quite happy with it. But you suddenly removed the ability to manually select which country to connect to. Now Proton automatically always connects me to Japan, but it rarely works on the app I need a VPN for. Netherlands was what I always used before. Please bring back manual country selection. I’ll have to look for another free VPN otherwise. Update: I’m tired. I keep disconnecting and reconnecting hoping it will go to Netherlands but it never does. Changing servers goes to Poland or Romania, which still doesn’t work. Proton has become useless so I’m uninstalling it.
My phone is overheating using this.. and its draining my battery (iphone 7 plus)
