Provident CU Mobile Banking

I have been with Provident for more than 10 years now very good service. I really like them a lot.

I live in Alameda and I have gone to all Provident banks around the bay and Alameda has the most amazing customer service. One teller, I forgot her name, she’s Filipino? She’s the best! She goes out of her way and treats you like a real person. Always smiling always helpful and I wanted to make sure to give her props!

Does not scroll on iPhone

This app is slower than a wet week. Further, I’m pretty sure you could make external transfers even more complicated… please open a bank account with someone else, download their app, and see what you aught to be doing. How is it with all the complaints over the years, they're still giving five stars.? What’s going on here? i’m guessing someone’s changing the star rating. The poor quality and functionality of this app is a direct reflection on how the credit union and its services are run. Abysmal.

I like the app. Don’t like the way it makes send a text to login. Works well after you get in.

PCU as an institution is fine but PCUs app is years behind in terms of features and functionality. It will will not remember usernames. It takes multiple seconds to “think”, log on and load the next page where other apps take nanoseconds. The UI is not intuitive at all. It’s such a shame bc while PCU does offer some competitive rates for loans bc of their size they do not have a lot of locations which makes online banking that much more important and PCU puts up a solid D grade in online banking and their app. Updated 7/20/24 still the worst financial app I have used. Nothing has changed in terms of functionality nd ease of use particularly login. Quirky and not user friendly at all.

Easy to make transactions-keep track of my accounts daily

Please update your app to the latest iOS versions. I had no problems with this app until I updated a new iPhone iOS version…and now the app states my phone is jailbroken…which it is not.

Even on a newer iPhone this app is so slow to load- not sure why their developers can’t fix that. You are better off just accessing their site on your phone browser and bookmark. It’s much faster than this app and has almost all of the same functionality.
