## Pryvate Messenger Reviews in United States

### *---- "Requires Phone Number"
It didn’t use to but now requires phone number to sign up.
Also, it “requires” access to Contacts, Camera, and more before you can finish signing up or using the app.
WHY?
-- DeleteMeeh, 2024-12-08

### ****- "Apple Watch notification"
Apple Watch notifications are set to mirror phone. My phone has Show Preview Off. So I don't see the contents of each message on my phone notifications but I do see the contents on my iwatch...which I don't want but can't turn that off.
-- Raw Dawg222, 2022-05-23

### ***** "Really good encrypted messenger"
We would truly appreciate a black theme it’s currently too bright as there are times when we really need to have a dark black stealthy theme other then that keep up the good work
-- ssenippaheno, 2021-10-27

### ***** "PRYVATE"
Best encryption app ever!!!!
-- mjhaze1954, 2021-04-21

### *---- "I’m over it."
I didn’t mind this app when I first got it, but then th most recent update happened. 7 different times I got the notification that I had a new message & every time I opened the app, I had no new message. I talked to the person I was talking to & they confirmed they sent messages. At first I thought it was just because I had to log back on, then it happened even when logged on. I’m just over it. It worked fine. Before the last update.
-- Amellobello, 2020-11-26

### ***** "Bye Bye WhatsApp"
I have tried Signal as well, but I really love Pryvate. It is fully encrypted and offers all the functionality you want.what mundane text might somehow end up with the NSA.
-- John91932, 2020-11-12

### ***** "Love how secure it is!"
Wow this version is so much better.
-- dont do it its a trick, 2020-10-19

### *---- "Impossible to verify from Maldives."
Doesn't support Maldives phone numbers.
-- Gong2222, 2019-05-16

### ***** "Greatly Improved"
I used the app a handful of times a year ago and was a bit disappointed, but now it is greatly improved and am happy with it. It’s an amazing alternative for those who want a privacy-sensitive alternative to WhatsApp with more functionality (e-mail, file transfer, cryptocurrency wallet, browser, and video) all in one place.
-- MilkyBanannas, 2018-11-17

### ****- "Love it but one feature is forgetting"
I love the app it's very secure I trust it with all my heart but one thing is forgetting and it is changing phone numbers. Let me explain, there is an app called TextOne it is used to change your phone number. It's basically a second phone number to make you Anonymous if this app had it I would love this app, even more, the developers should develop it on this app to make it more secure and make the user more Anonymous. That's just me what do you developers think?
