Best PT at home

This program works and is fantastic!

New update adds steps

Pragmatic knee on

Why not leave it alone? I used to be able to just pull up the exercise list from my therapist. Now, I have to start a training session and check boxes that submit information to whatever. Before you change things, use them so you understand what’s important to the user. Or ask them. Instead of spamming the world with ways to make another dollar and get those all important stars, send an email to users for review/suggestions for an update.

Recent app update is horrible

jongbeau on

Timer stops when the screen goes to sleep. Also can’t see the exercise list without clicking through a bunch of questions. Bring back the old UX please!

June 2023 Update Ruined App

TheXiaojie on

The update ruined a perfectly useful app. Way too much friction and inflexibility now. Data scraping seems to be the motivation as new version forces user to rate their pain index in order to start the exercises!! Why must we offer data in order to access our routines? New version also forces user through exercise plan in the app-lead order whereas previous version was a user-directed checklist that put the user in charge. Finally the old, pleasant timer with quiet cheerful tune at alarm is now a female machine voice ordering the start and end. Sorry, human patient. Technology is meant to be a tool to help humans, but the new PTX app thinks humans are here to serve technology.

Recent changes to app are terrible

HJF8x8 on

I really hate the recent changes to the app. The worst problem is that the timer for the exercises no longer works on my iPhone because s as soon as my screen goes dark ) while I’m doing the exercise), the timer pauses. Not helpful! I also dislike the addition of the “How are you feeling” score before beginning the exercise menu. I also dislikethat’s it’s more cumbersome to find the list of exercises and the default seems to be open to the first exercise rather than the list. I finally found where the list can be accessed, but just generally think the so changes were not thoughtfully done and wish I could revert to the older version.

Serious Pain Relief

DrChiro on

I’ve used this form of exercise for many years and I’m a Chiropractor. I wish I could’ve had this app for my patient many years ago. The best pain relief exercises there are.

Not worth the money

Pops95b on

Ok so I have been using the app for awhile for a shoulder injury. I can honestly say that the basic exercises helped with my pain at night while trying to sleep but not with range of motion. After every set they give u a surgery which i would state i needed more SHOULD FOCUSED stuff for my traumatic shoulder injury.. and once again i would get generalized stuff with knee squeezes and posture stretches with one or two shoulder focused things. I worked for a physical therapist for a couple years, i get the whole body is connected. But i also get these arent trailered to your actual injury and are more generalized stretches that you could find on youtube. Also to get any actual interaction with a therapist is $700 on top of the $300 i already paid. So i wouldn’t recommend this. You can find videos on youtube for free that will actually target the area you need.

So much relief!

KC Person on

I have been dealing with intermittent neck and shoulder pain for almost 10 years. My physician prescribed muscle relaxers, but I cannot function on that type of medication. PTX Virtual Therapy was recommended by a friend. I’ve been thrilled with the results and the flexibility to fit the treatment into my schedule! If I stop doing my PTX program, I begin to notice my pain returning. I’ve been a dedicated client and am so happy with the results!
