As of 9/10/25, the average, annualized yield to worst (YTW) across all ten bonds is up to 5%. Very good app

Fast

Difficult to withdraw/ transfer funds

dobhamming on

I do NOT recommend Public. Very difficult to transfer funds from their account to an external account, as compared to Chase, Sofi, and PNC. They require you to send ALL recent bank statement with your full name and account number, which is understandable, but cannot be “altered or redacted documents,” meaning they MUST see your transactions and dollar amount. First it was for all accounts used to transfer funds within 90, then they came back, stating “Compliance wants statements for December (this month).” Also customer support is strictly via chat or email. I asked to speak with a live person, and the response was “no phone support.” THEY HIDE BEHIND A COMPUTER.

Best Support Ever

This app helped me get a solid understanding of investing and made it easy for me to plan, control, and monitor my investments. I have had very few issues with the app or the company, BUT - things do happen. Sometimes programs don’t work as we would like them to. Every time I have encountered something with this app that had an issue, their support team has been exceptional in resolving every part of it and makes sure that I was not penalized. I felt genuinely heard and respected whenever I have reached out through their help system which is as simple and responsive as I need it to be.

Worst app to trade

Red Vin on

United States

Just learned I have nothing left after investing and involved in Lahaina fires in Maui. To go from something to try, to nothing at all is not cool. so I closed my today this Christmas 12/25/24 and make sure I never open another one with you folks ever again. I don’t want to do future business if first timers in my case won’t be helped!!!

Man I’m glad I figured out this app is whack before it was too late.

It’s great until you want to withdraw your own money

Poker69 on

All was going pretty well, easy and quick transactions. Then I made the mistake of wanting to withdraw some of my own money from my Public account. I’ve sent them everything they asked for, bank statements, photos of my ID, address verification, and I STILL cannot access my own friggin money… They’ll take it out of your bank account with zero stipulations, but God Forbid you want it back…
