I have switched to PS as Undok has sync & connection issues. PS even works with non-Pure devices that are Undok compatible.
It has a choice of two. One of which I can hear in the kitchen. Numerous attempts, can’t find either. The WiFi assistant tells you all about things that might block upnp… Curiously the one upnp app I have on this phone never fails to find both radios, even when they’re off, and can turn them on, play things from my phone or from various upnp servers I’ve got. This app, nothing, zip, nada In short : useless
This app works well with the CF6, but I am now getting messages when listening to BBC stations stating they will no longer be broadcasting via this platform from May 2023, I think this will need an update from to resolve the matter.
Was initially quite good but recently takes ages to load then disconnects randomly and frequently then takes a long time to re load. Often the browse function is unavailable so can’t search for stations. Frustrating and disappointing!
I have two devices and the app now refuses to recognise the newest one. Worked fine before.
It took a while for this to get sorted since the iOS 15 borkage, but is now fully working again. You still lose a star though for dragging your feet You’ll get the star back though if you add the feature to program alarms 🍺
I find this app a really useful way to control my Evoke C-F6 and far more reliable than the remote control. It never struggles to locate the unit on my home network and is pretty rock solid controlling DAB, Spotify Connect and CDs. One improvement I’d like is to be able to select tracks on CDs from a list in the same way you can access radio presets. Currently you have to track skip multiple times. Otherwise, pretty decent.
This made my Pure DAB radio almost useable as the radio developed the common fault of the volume/menu selector failing. But the app will not find the radio now - my DAB radio is useless and is now an expensive ornament!
Worked for a day or two but it rarely able to find the Radio even when it’s next to it. Rubbish.
