## Purple Carrot Reviews in United States

### ***** "My fat butt can not wait.🤤"
All the meal kits look so exciting. I am ready to experiment and try new things in the kitchen.
-- Centail, 2024-12-19

### *---- "This whole service gets 1 star"
The foods delicious when you can actually get it.

About half of our orders go missing and never show up, I spend so long talking to this company’s support trying to figure out what day the foods coming and if it’ll show up at all.

Their support team is completely incompetent, and they really struggle to ship ingredients.

They need to use a real carrier like FedEx or UPS and not LaserShip. Then they need to support American Express.
-- xanwtf, 2024-12-04

### *---- "Doesn’t let me open my cart."
Something has changed with this app and now I am unable to open up my cart. I need to know the total cost. So now I have skipped purchasing anything until this is resolved.
-- Unhappy——-, 2024-10-19

### ****- "App no longer working"
I’m not able to update my meal selection with the app. Stopped working a couple of weeks ago.
-- TKGermanGirl, 2024-10-09

### *---- "Beware of the auto subscriptions on log in"
You can’t log in a browse the menu pick and see what you might like and choose
They auto log in to subscribe very sketchy
-- PEACExWAR, 2024-10-05

### **--- "Good service, app needs a ton of work"
Every time I use this app I cannot believe how poorly designed it is. There’s no auto save when you make changes so multiple times I have customized my order only to receive the default picks I don’t want because it didn’t save. You can’t add the meal to your cart once you tap into the details even though you can change the servings in the detailed view. There are categories like quick prep and high protein but you can’t filter on those categories at all so you have to tap into each one to see. The app also isn’t optimized to phone size or something - things get cut off on the bottom. They also recently made the breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal kits separate tabs within meal kits which is annoying having to scroll back up to switch.

App aside, I wish they’d stop sending a full head of garlic each time you need 1 clove. I have so much garlic at home, it’s ridiculous. The recipes are decently good but the prepared meals are VERY hit or miss. Also many of the pantry items have pictures with 3 items but you will only get 1 in your order which I find misleading.

Customer service is generally good but warning once your order deadline is past you can’t change anything including holding an order back. I was unexpectedly out of town due to a death in the family and while they did give me credits for that whole order, they couldn’t stop the delivery so I had to have someone go to my place and put everything away for me which was a hassle.

I enjoy the service and the easier recipes but please improve your app. I would love if you could add preferences to your account for the prefilled recipes so I can prevent accidentally getting the 45 min+ recipes cause that is not what I’m looking to take on with a meal kit service.

### *---- "Sloppy app UI and service"
They opened two accounts with same email and address and don’t warn you when your food is coming so if you wanna waste time and rotten food and love credit fraud disputes, sign on up!
-- sda547, 2024-08-30

### ***** "Amazing, delicious foods"
I so much better after eating these delicious and clean meals.
-- Jaime/James, 2024-08-29

### *---- "Food was horrible but the app works"
I’ve received two deliveries and both looked nothing like what was represented. This week’s order went straight in the bin as it was overheated and the food poor quality. Cancelled after two weeks.
-- Saddened999, 2024-08-07

### **--- "I like the food but…"
There is no customer service. This is not like HelloFresh, if your order is wrong or missing something it’s just too bad and you’re out the money. Also you have no control over what day this ships. There is an email address provided to contact and no one will ever reply. Get it together purple carrot. I like the food and the recipes are super easy but I’m getting very frustrated with the lack of communication avenues.
