I’ve gotten fairly frustrated with this app that has been designed by developers who don’t know how to design software that is user friendly. The app allows you to download it for free, however once you have downloaded the app it will not allow you to use it until you purchase the premium version that costs $5 a week. This is not a good design because they should be up front about charging you before you even download the app and waste time trying to figure out how to escape the big bear that pops up on your screen to steal your money.

1. Your code gets kidnapped in this app. They will let you code and everything then when you close the app and try opening again, it tells you to buy or your code would be lost. I couldn’t believe an open sourced IDE for python to cost money, and it’s also very expensive so it’s a scam

3. Running the program is weird, very different from python on pc

Whenever i launch the app, there’s a pop-up for ‘’python editor pro‘’ promotion that cannot be dismissed. There is no ‘’x’’ button or swipe function to close back the pop-up then the app is locked in the pop-up forever.

I have just installed it and i cannot use it. I’m not even rating this app because i could never see how it works.

The pop-up problem is probably due to the display format of my iphone 8 and it better be fixed since the app is unusable for now.
