Pythonista is a complete scripting environment for Python 3.10, running right on your iPad or iPhone, so you can develop and run Python scripts on the go.

Like Python itself, "batteries are included" – from popular third-party modules like requests, numpy, matplotlib, pandas (and many more) to modules that are tailor-made for iOS. With Pythonista, your scripts can access sensor/location data, your photo library, contacts, reminders, the clipboard, and more, allowing you to harness the full potential of both Python and iOS.

Ho comprato questa applicazione perché cercando su Google questa qui era la migliore tra le varie scelte possibili. Provando ad usare un mio programma che usa una semplice libreria Pandas per la creazione la lettura e qualsiasi altra cosa di file csv l’applicazione non mi permette di fare niente in quanto Pandas è troppo aggiornato rispetto ad alcune cose in questa applicazione. Cercando il modo di aggiornare ho trovato su molti forum sempre la stessa cosa.non è possibile usare molte funzioni basilari perché questa applicazione utilizza dei software obsoleti come ad esempio Numpy. Farò di tutto per farmi rimborsare questi soldi, app a mio parere inutile se alcune funzioni sono bloccate non posso avere la libertà di creare niente o se posso creare qualcosa lo devo fare con la paura di bloccarmi a un certo punto.potrebbe essere buona solo per scrivere i codici ma questo punto sarebbe stata utile o qualsiasi altra applicazione che vedo nello Store non vedo perché questa dovrebbe essere migliore di un altro.

Come già riportato da altri recensori, l’applicazione è ottima ma la mancanza di Pandas e Scipy la rendono non completamente fruibile. Sarebbe il caso che gli sviluppatori ci riflettano su. Capisco che lo sforzo sarebbe notevole, ma per avere le 5 stelle credo sia indispensabile procedere in tal senso. Per il resto tutto è ok.

Permette di fare programmi e giochi dall’aspetto professionale. Imparare Pyhon potendo scrivere applicazioni per il proprio dispositivo e senza passare per xcode  sottoscrivendo un abbonamento alla Apple come sviluppatore. Se programmate in Python non potete non comprare questa applicazione.

Ogni volta che si fa un errore all’interno di un ciclo (for,while) quale, un out of range, invalid sintax, o qualsiasi altro errore di programmazione, l’applicazione crusha e bisogna riavviarla. Pessima, inutilizzabile, ti fa venire il nervoso non solo per i soldi buttati ma per il numero di volte che bisogna riavviare l’app

Grazie per questa bella applicazione, e un grazie speciale per averla resa piuttosto accessibile con VoiceOver. Volevo chiedere allo sviluppatore se lo sviluppo di questa applicazione è terminato. Ormai non si vede un aggiornamento da un anno, e mi farebbe piacere sapere che continua ad essere sviluppata da, magari passando a Baitone tre. Sette.

L’applicazione è fatta molto bene ed offre molte possibilità ed anche degli script già fatti (per esempio per monitorare la batteria).
Segnalo però la mancanza della possibilità di far andare l’app in background, che costringe l’utente a non bloccare il cellulare e a lasciare l’app in primo piano, se è in esecuzione uno script. Questa mancanza per alcuni programmi può rappresentare un problema serio; invito lo sviluppatore ad aggiungere tale possibilità.
Inoltre gli shortcuts da 3D touch per lanciare gli script più velocemente non funzionano. Questo è un problema meno grave ma comunque una possibilità in meno rispetto alle tante che l’app offre.

La migliore che ho installato. Però oltre a Numpy sono indispensabili anche Pandas e Scipy. Nei vari forum dedicati a Pythonista 3 ho notato che sono moltissimi che lamentano queste mancanze. Quindi penso che gli sviluppatori dovrebbero ascoltare queste richieste e implementare questi moduli.
