## Pythonista 3 Description
Pythonista is a complete scripting environment for Python 3.10, running right on your iPad or iPhone, so you can develop and run Python scripts on the go.

Like Python itself, "batteries are included" – from popular third-party modules like requests, numpy, matplotlib, pandas (and many more) to modules that are tailor-made for iOS. With Pythonista, your scripts can access sensor/location data, your photo library, contacts, reminders, the clipboard, and more, allowing you to harness the full potential of both Python and iOS.

Pythonista is designed with a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for anyone to get started with coding, regardless of skill level. The complete Python documentation is also available for offline reading in the app.

Pythonista is not just for learning and practicing Python – it's also a powerful tool for automating iOS with multiple app extensions. It was really good and the best in the past. Due no significant updates have been made in the last years, I prefer now Pyto because it has the same as Phytonista plus OpenCV, SciPy, SkLearn, Pandas and other usefull libraries 🤷🏼‍♂️

Pythonista 3 works and are very useful when editing python files on in ipad. But it lacks a couple of features before it is really useable for working with a larger python project:

- Have Python 3.8 available

- Possibility to upload/download files from a host via e.g. scp
I work with a larger git repo, so I have to copy the files to/from iCloud which is a tedious error prone extra step.

- Possibility run python on a host, while seeing the console on my ipad.
I cannot run my project within Pythonista due to lack of the whole project environment.

- multiple source windows
This is just a nice to have feature, which makes copying/comparing a lot easier.

adding the 3 first would change the rating to 5 stars, as it is now I have too many manual steps around the editing so 3 stars.

Con la última actualización han quedado resueltos pequeños detalles que hacían poco eficiente el trabajo en iPad OS 13. Pero ahora no sólo se han corregido esos bugs, sino que disponemos de múltiples mejoras nuevas, como un teclado específico para ejecutar Scripts Python desde cualquier app. Tanto si eres un programador profesional como si es tu primera experiencia en Python, se trata de una aplicación IMPRESCINDIBLE.

La calidad de este entorno es tan alta que paso más tiempo programando en el iPad que en el portátil.

Ahora sólo me faltan dos detalles para las 10 estrellas: Python 3.8 y... portar la app al Mac OS!!!

### **--- "NO SOPORTA EL MÓDULO TKINTER!"
Realmente una aplicación bien diseñada y útil en general. Sin embargo, tiene una limitación muy significativa: por lo que sé, carece de soporte para módulos visuales, tipo Tkinter, es decir, que no parece posible visualizar el código mediante una interfaz de tipo ventana, como se usa para interaccionar en cualquier programa, para seleccionar menús, botones, ventanas emergentes, etc. En caso de que sí se pudiera agradecería cualquier sugerencia. En caso contrario, creo que esta limitación debería quedar clara en la presentación general del programa. Espero que se arregle pronto, pues me parece una app versátil, sencilla y potente.
