## Qantas Wellbeing Description
The Qantas Wellbeing App offers you a fun, easy way to improve your health - and your Qantas Points balance just by doing everyday activities.

To get started, link your fitness app or device to sync activity data. Then set a daily and weekly goal in the Wellbeing app and earn Qantas Points for completing them. You can sync to a variety of wearable apps including AppleⓇ Health, Fitbit, Garmin, and Strava.

Boost your motivation - and your points - by inviting your friends and family and setting up challenges. In the 28-day trial you can earn up to 1,000 Qantas Points* for walking, running, swimming and sleeping. Plus, because we know wellbeing extends beyond our health, we’ve included rewards for completing car safety checks. With so many ways to earn points, you could be taking off on your next holiday sooner than you think. 

Once the trial is over you can continue to earn up to 2,000 points a year^ but at a reduced rate. To keep earning at the higher rate you need to purchase an eligible Qantas Insurance product.

* You must be 13 years of age or over to use the App. During the Qantas Wellbeing App 28-Day Trial, App users can earn up to 1,000 Qantas Points without having to purchase an Eligible Qantas Insurance Product. To earn 1,000 Qantas Points, you must complete the highest daily and weekly challenges, win every weekly group challenge and complete all checks. Once the 28-Day Trial has ended, QFF members who do not purchase an Eligible Qantas Insurance Product (Qantas Health, Life and Annual Multi Trip Travel Insurance policies) will earn Qantas Points at a reduced rate each month through the App. Qantas may amend or withdraw the points offered for activities at any time. The app has been experiencing technical issues for about a fortnight and cannot accurately assess steps in this time. The amount of QANTAS points you earn is minimal. How in 2025 can an app have such an extended down time if it has competent people and cares about the users? Pretty pathetic.

On Monday which is the day before yesterday, the problem started. It just kept showing errors when I tried to sync the step count with the Health app. I had racked up 17k, but this app was stuck with 6k-ish which was the morning count. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it. I tried turning the phone off and on again. Still didn’t work. So I was forced to lower the daily goal to 6k so that I could at least have some points saved. But as soon as I lowered the goal, the app synced. The same situation is happening again now. The step count on the Health app is 17.7k but this app is stuck at 10k. What’s even worse is that it wont let me lower my goal now!! Garbage!

Over the past few weeks the Wellbeing app is becoming more flaky. It was never the most stable app anyway. But the connectivity between the app and server is now sporadic at best. A lot of the maintenance is not advised in advance and this detracts from the user experience. You have to question Qantas’s ongoing real commitment to Wellbeing.

I have had the app for many years and have enjoyed collecting the extra QANTAS points. However in the past couple of weeks the app isn’t working… whenever I click on the app it just glitches out, I have deleted the app and then reinstalled it but nothing seems to work! Now too sure what else I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciate!
