## Qb DAF Description

qb DAF brings Delayed Auditory Feedback — a technique used by speech-language pathologists for decades — to your pocket. Put on your headphones, press Start, and hear your own voice played back with a slight delay. For many people who stutter, this simple change is enough to noticeably improve fluency and slow down speech naturally.

HOW IT WORKS
Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) alters the way you hear yourself while speaking. By delaying your voice by a fraction of a second, it encourages slower, more deliberate speech and can reduce stuttering for many users. DAF is also used to practice pacing in everyday conversation, public speaking, and reading aloud.

FEATURES
• Real-time voice feedback with no recording — your voice goes straight from the microphone to your headphones
• Adjustable delay from 25 to 200 ms, in simple 25 ms steps
• Change the delay live, while you speak, and feel the difference instantly
• Sound waves on screen follow your real voice
• Works in the background and with the screen locked — keep practicing while reading or walking
• Safe by design: starts only with headphones connected, and stops automatically if they disconnect or a call comes in
• Clear warning when Bluetooth headphones add extra latency (wired headphones give the most accurate timing)
• No account, no ads, no tracking. Completely free.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your voice is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. All audio is processed in real time on your device and disappears the moment you hear it. qb DAF collects no data at all.

GETTING STARTED
1. Connect your headphones (wired recommended)
2. Choose your delay — most people start around 50–100 ms
3. Press Start and speak
