Now it does not open. Claims that I don’t have a subscription which I do. The people at the newspaper weren’t very useful either. Get the thing working. -- Font too small, 2025-05-24 ### *---- "Inadequate in the extreme" Stories frequently don’t open when you tap on them. The app sometimes tells you that you need to subscribe even though you already are and denies you the story. Just a very weak tool. Not worth the aggravation which is a shame because we need good local journalism. -- LeeIowa, 2024-04-11 ### *---- "App performance is very inconsistent" App does not consistently. Many times app opens to a blank screen. Also when going from one page to the next I get a message that the page is not available for download. If I go forward or backward it will load sometimes. Same thing happens when using the page function. I’m frustrated enough with both the app and QCTimes.com website that I’m seriously considering canceling my digital subscription. -- Deszlinde, 2023-12-13 ### *---- "I just want to read the news!" Old app was so much easier to navigate, local news is sparse at best. Too many sports articles. -- SuperShoeDiva, 2023-01-08 ### *---- "Used to be useful" Full of ads as anything else but now you can’t even read a story without a full screen demand to pay for a subscription. Deleting -- Bigsurmoonster, 2022-12-03 ### *---- "Tougher to read the subscription emailed version now" We love local news, but not when biased comments are added. News is informative when it relays the facts. I have noticed more insertions of reporters own adjectives on their perceived views of the news. Journalism is based on facts. Keep opinions to the Opinion page. And although I subscribe to the Times, the navigation from page to page has become more difficult than in the past. You have made it harder now to read even with a subscription. Past Times reader -- Keep journalism unbiased, 2021-06-03 ### **--- "Invasive adware is a problem" The layout has always been a bit klunky, but you could still read local news. Lately, however, as I’m reading articles, the screen keeps getting taken hostage by ads (or “congratulations winner”-type scams) that one cannot click out of. I have to force-quit the app. -- Papa Lynch, 2020-09-24 ### *---- "Upset" What happened to the obituaries can’t get anything. -- mildmax63, 2020-01-31 ### ***** "Q-C HS Girls Golf" I reside in AZ now, come back to coach players at the JDC almost every year. Your QC Times App has been a great way for me to keep up with one of my girl stars Shannyn Vogler. See if she grows strong enough to bring her into to ASU’s team. I couldn’t keep track of her w/o this great App. THANK YOU Q-C TIMES!!! -- BenWgolf1, 2019-04-19 ### *---- "Bring back the old app" Why ruin a good thing? The new app is awful. No more pending obituaries and sports is terrible. -- Illini Scott, 2018-12-30 [View all QCTimes reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## QCTimes In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Subscriptions | $309.99 | ## Apps Similar to QCTimes - [QCOnline](https://apptail.io/app/qconline-HfP/united-states) - [TheGazette.com](https://apptail.io/app/thegazettecom-clP/united-states) - [Iowa Public Radio App](https://apptail.io/app/iowa-public-radio-app-glP/united-states) - [WCF Courier](https://apptail.io/app/wcf-courier-llP/united-states) - [Des Moines Register](https://apptail.io/app/des-moines-register-uAP/united-states) - [WQAD News 8 Quad Cities](https://apptail.io/app/wqad-news-8-quad-cities-BDP/united-states) - [Our Quad Cities | WHBF KLJB TV](https://apptail.io/app/our-quad-cities-whbf-kljb-tv-cYtc/united-states) - [KWQC News l Quad Cities Area](https://apptail.io/app/kwqc-news-l-quad-cities-area-dYtc/united-states) - [WVIK Quad Cities NPR](https://apptail.io/app/wvik-quad-cities-npr-eYtc/united-states) - [Muscatine Journal](https://apptail.io/app/muscatine-journal-xpyc/united-states) ## QCTimes Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/canada) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/azerbaijan) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/brazil) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/belarus) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/chile) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/china) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/colombia) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/algeria) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/egypt) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/hong-kong) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/indonesia) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/india) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/south-korea) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/kuwait) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/kazakhstan) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/nigeria) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/new-zealand) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/peru) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/pakistan) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/saudi-arabia) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/taiwan) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/ukraine) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/vietnam) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/united-arab-emirates) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/south-africa) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/qctimes-ilP/argentina) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
