App won’t let me check out. Keeps asking to change store. Annoying.
If you’re going to force updates frequently you shouldn’t make the app so big! (300MB). Why are you running up data usage for little reason?
It’s the same story at every visit. Theso called digital coupons don’t work. The app is maddening in that regard. QFC KNOWS they have an issue. You can go to checkout and tell the cashier it’s a digital coupon item and if you know the price, it’s yours. Such a pain.
I ordered from QFC for the first time this week and it’s one of the worst grocery experiences I’ve ever had. Hey push orders to Instacart so there’s no point in ordering from them, on top of that they charged me twice for my order and it’s been an insane ordeal to get this situation sorted. Avoid this app like the plague
If I didn't know any better I would say that QFC/Kroger didn't want customers to benefit from weekly sales and other specials because the app is nearly impossible to navigate even for the person who is tech-savvy. The overall layout is confusing at best and seems to change from week to week as if the developers are still trying to figure out what the best design should be. This is a terrible service for the customer. Apps in general should always be straightforward, intuitive, and so simple that users of all capabilities can easily use them. The QFC/Kroger app does not tick any of those boxes and is actually more of a disservice to the customer than an asset to shopping for groceries. if possible, I would give the app zero rating stars.
The reason to use these apps is the savings and for grocery pickup. So the former works better than fine. I never have a problem with picking up anything. It’s also great for checking the stock of my local Kroger-owned stores. All apps that check in-stock status have my eternal gratitude. The problem is the savings and coupons. It’s discombobulated like whoa. There’s no order or cohesion regarding how to clip coupons, plus get savings, plus see what’s on sale. Even the access points to these areas of the app will look different at different points throughout the app. It should be uniform, like Safeway’s. Chaos can reign supreme but the fundamentals of the app should be set predominantly within sight and remain there unchanged as one traverses the app.
It took me almost an hour to register this afternoon. I kept getting error messages. I had to register since they couldn’t find my account I’ve had for over 15 years. When I got to the register, over half of the digital coupons didn’t work. A manger went through and manually credited me for each. Since she had to do that with several customers in front of me, it took almost 45 mins to check out. All the while everyone in the single line was watching their frozen food melt. Unless I hear about a great deal, I am never using this app again.
I use this app maybe once a month or less, I’d probably use it more if the interface was easier to use and more visually appealing. The app looks busy and my eyes don’t know where to look. You have coupons, Easy meals suggestions, ads, more deals and I feel overwhelmed. So I just use the search bar to add items when I could be scrolling through the app and maybe adding items I didn’t know I needed. Saves me money I guess. Ordering and adding items to cart is fairly easy but something I wish we could do in app is rate the shopper. I can’t remember my password half the time so even though I want to give the shopper a good rating I can’t because the app sends me out, wants me to log in in order to rate.
Downloaded this app, so I could save some money at my QFC store. Of course, the app couldn’t load my savings card, then it couldn’t even find my store, and then, when I did clip coupons, it never added them. And then wanted to know my ZIP Code while I was trying to shop, and even when it found my store, it kept asking for my ZIP Code. And it became more and more intrusive and yet couldn’t do basic things. What is pathetic is that three union QFC employees could not figure this app out, and none of the three employees use the app. I then had a fellow customer. Tell me that the same thing happens to them. Another stupid thing about this app is that you download the app on your phone and it keeps trying to get you to login on the QFC website. What is the point of that? Clunky, complicated, intrusive, and doesn’t even work. When QFC employees don’t use the app and don’t even know how to it is proof that this is a failed product. Instantly deleted it and will block your emails.
I think this app would work better if the sign in button signed you in.
