## Qfile Pro Description
Qfile Pro is a free companion app for QNAP NAS that allows you to browse and manage the files on your NAS using your iPhone or iPad.
Prerequisites:
- iOS 16 or later
- QNAP NAS running QTS 4.0 or later, QuTS hero 4.5.0 or later

Major features of Qfile Pro:
- Access files on your QNAP NAS anytime, anywhere.
- Directly upload photos and documents from your iOS devices to your NAS.
- Easy sharing: Create download links to easily share files via email or SMS, or simply email the file as an attachment.
- Easy management: Move, copy, rename, and delete files on your NAS using your mobile device. No computer required.
- Offline file reading: Download files from your NAS to your iOS device for convenient access when you do not have an Internet connection.
- Auto upload: Automatically upload photos from your device's photo gallery to the NAS. (To ensure that Qfile Pro can continually provide this background service, you must allow the location service - please note that this may noticeably decrease battery life.)
- Qysnc integration: Synchronize files between your mobile device and your QNAP NAS. (Requires QTS 4.3.4/QuTS hero 4.5.0 or later, and Qsync Central to be installed on your QNAP NAS device.)

Es ist schon wieder soweit: QFILEPRO funktioniert mal wieder nicht mehr nachdem die Sitzung der NAS abgelaufen war. iPhone mit neuestem Update! Zugang im eigenen Netzwerk über PC funktioniert seltsamerweise….immerhin! 
Der Countdown für den Abschuss der QNAP-NAS läuft, sollte es nicht bald funktionieren …

Ich weiss nicht warum aber wenn ich über ne andere z.B Whats App eine Datei aus Qfile heraus weiterleiten will bekomme ich immer die Meldung Datei existiert nicht wenn ich sie anhängen will. Gleichzeitig wird das Cloudsymbol angezeigt…herunterladen kann ich aber auch nicht.

Mir werden die Dateien und Ordner mit Umlauten als Konflikt neu angelegt. Dies macht die App unbrauchbar.

The IP adress of our NAS changes frequently, however despite an unchanged name qfile always fails to reconnect. One has to manually change the IP adress. When creating a new NAS it easily finds the device… why not automatically search for the NAS when reconnect fails? The app itsef is good when connected.

Die App ist recht gut und intuitiv. Leider ist die Integration in die IOS Dateien App eine Katastrophe, da von dort über qfile geöffnete Dateien im Cache gespeichert werden und nicht jedes Mal den letzten Stand öffnen. Dieser Fehler hat mich schon einige Male viel Zeit gekostet excellisten erneut zu aktualisieren..

Die App wird immer komplett beendet, wenn man sie nicht bei eingeschaltetem Bildschirm offen lässt. Das passiert sogar, wenn die App im Vordergrund ist und man das Handy ausschaltet. 
So brechen Downloads oder Uploads ständig ab und fangen dann wieder bei 0 an. Auch ein großer Witz, dass die nicht fortgeführt werden.

Ansich eine gute App. Auch schön,  dass Qsync und Sync für Fotos mit dabei sind.  Aber das ganze Photo und Multimediathema ist für Apple-User eher ganz semi. Besser nicht.  Insgesamt aber bitte weiter so QNAP.

Warum funktioniert nicht diese App ganz einfach ich brauche eine App die in meinem lokalen Netzwerk geht. Nein ich werde niemals mehr ein Update durchführen trotz Beschreibung das diese App unter 4.0.0 arbeiten soll. Mein Cloudlink wurde von Ihnen deaktiviert vielleicht liegt es ja daran komischerweise funktioniert die Qnap Photo, Qnap manager und die Fernbedienung noch. Damals wurde dieser NAS Server gekauft als Speicher mit Mulimediaplayer Kodi. Ich hätte mir gleich nur ein sehr große Festplatte kaufen sollen zu einem wesentlichen niedrigen Preis. Voller lauter Sicherheit gehen die Basics mehr nicht mehr und zudem werden alte Apps anscheinend nicht weiterhin unterstützt. Vielen Dank, komfort sieht anderes aus.

Wichtigstes vorangestellt:
Seit dem letzten Update stürzt die App regelmäßig (aller 10 min) ab. Die Musikwiedergabe aus den Offline-Dateien funktioniert damit nicht mehr wie gewohnt.

Ich nutze die App gern. Sie deckt die Funktionen der anderen Qnap-Apps zur Bild- und Musikwiedergabe ausreichend ab.
Der Download in einen separierten Offline-Pfad ist super.
Die Filenavigation ist schnell. Anmeldeinformationen bleiben erhalten auch nach Entfernung aus dem WLAN.
Um in die Offline-Dateien zu kommen, muss man leider den kompletten File-Pfad im NAS zurück bis ins Hauptmenü. Hier wäre ein separater Button hilfreich.

Die Qfile Pro App ist im IOS Filemenager integriert, man kann also beim Kopieren von Daten die NAS als Ziel finden. Auch hier wäre ein Shortcut schön, denn man muss ebenfalls erst den ganzen Pfad zurück bis in die übergeordnetste IPhone Struktur.
Beim Abspeichern aus Safari wünsche ich mir noch einen Shortcut. Auch hier muss man erst in den Filemanager und sich dann rückwärts bis zur NAS navigieren.

Die App funktioniert relativ gut. Die Möglichkeit QSync einzubinden ist ein riesiger Fortschritt und ist sehr praktisch da man nicht mehr zwei apps braucht. Zumal QSync auf dem Smartphone katastrophal läuft. 
Man kann die App per Passwort sichern. 
Was mir vor allem negativ aufgefallen ist, ist dass die App die Synchronisation nicht fortführt, wenn die App nicht im Vordergrund läuft. Manchmal bricht sie es ab. 
Zum Beispiel wurde ein Ordner synchronisiert, nach einer Weile hieß es, dass alle Dateien fertig seien. Nichts wurde mehr angezeigt. Bei einem späteren Login waren plötzlich Dutzende zu synchronisierende Daten da. Er hat es nicht in einem Durchlauf geschafft. 
Sondern brauchte mehrere.

Leider ist die App noch nicht ausgereift. Es fehlen viele Funktionen. Die Dropbox anbietet. Zum Beispiel die Erkennung eines Dokumentes, was automatisch zugeschnitten wird. Oder eine OCRerkennung. Ebenso werden keine thumbnails angezeigt von JPEGs.

Seit kurzem werden für neu hochgeladene Fotos keine Miniaturbilder mehr in der Qfile-App angezeigt. Liegt dies an einem Update der App oder an einer der letzten beiden Firmware-Updates des NAS?

Generell ein Lob für die verbesserte Performance in der App.

### **--- "Hintergrund Upload geht nicht"
Die App geht soweit, aber das was für mich auf dem Telefon mit am wichtigsten ist, ist der zuverlässige Upload meiner Bilder. Und genau das geht nicht.. Bitte kümmert euch um das Problem, denn es besteht ja offenbar schon eine Weile.
Und auch eine richtige Integration ins iOS System sollte inzwischen langsam kommen.

Neuerdings gibt es eine Integration in die Dateien-app von apple. Das ist ein Fortschritt. Allerdings werden die Dokumente über die Dateien-app nicht geöffnet. Man muss hierzu in die qfile pro app direkt gehen.

Wünschenswert wäre, um produktiv arbeiten zu können, das die Dateien sich öffnen und auch bearbeitet werden können.

### **--- "Unpraktisch und umständlich geworden"
Wieder ein Fall von Design geht vor Übersicht und Bedienbarkeit! Mühsame Extra Klicks für Upload, keine Anzeige mehr über die Upload Geschwindigkeit weil im Hintergrund, Absturz bzw. Kurz black screen bei Scrollen im Upload Ordner. Warum sind die häufig genutzten Funktionen auf mehrere Seiten und Buttons mit Untermenüs verteilt? Damit es gut aussieht? Funktionalität nach hinten gerutscht.
