I’ve never been this upset over an app in my life. I was suddenly charged AED 15 for a subscription to an app I’ve NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. I never downloaded Qlub, never signed up for anything, and never gave consent — yet somehow, they had access to my payment details and charged me without warning.

The most disturbing part? The only time I may have come into contact with this app is when I paid a restaurant bill using a QR code. It’s possible that during that transaction, someone enrolled me into a subscription without my knowledge or permission. This is incredibly alarming.

There was no email confirmation, no SMS alert, no record of me agreeing to anything. I checked everything — the app (once I found out what it was), my inbox, and my payment history. Nothing shows I ever willingly subscribed.

This feels like a deliberate scam. If this can happen to me without even downloading the app, it can happen to anyone. Do NOT trust this platform. Check your bank accounts and avoid using any QR payment system linked to Qlub.

Apps like this should not be allowed to operate.
