I’m leaving
This is my third review.
The first was 5 stars, I was blown away by the sound, I could genuinely hear a difference in songs, music sounded pure…
My second review was 2 stars, I started to realise what people meant about the buggy UI and UX. it really messes with the experience, but I was still in love with sound.
This review is after a lot of frustration, dealing with the laggy and buggy app. The downloads section was the last straw. Firstly, I’m on the underground, I click on my downloads to listen to music. It stops playing after I loose connection, and tells me I have no connection. I play a different track and it works, but stops on the second track *aggressive sighs*. Then I try to download a playlist, it starts with three songs and then stops saying it can’t download one song, and because of that song it won’t download the rest of the playlist… it says it won’t download unless the app is open (stupid feature btw), but the app is open. I closed, swiped away, reopened, still the same notification.
So that’s it, I’m done. Genuinely wanted to celebrate this app, but going back to Apple Music, I can get decent sound quality there and although the UI is boring it’s at least useable.
It’s ok BUT
Know I do love qobuz and think it’s the best for sound but I just can’t use it all the time as it’s missing way to much of the music/Artits I listen to such a shame really.
App confusione

Music playing for those who love all kinds of music…
‘Love-it! Can’t always afford it, but love-it. Especially love that it’s origin is French/European and not the USA.
Avoid at all costs!!! 👎👎👎
So, so poor. First and foremost it’s extortionate at £12.99 monthly. I had signed up for the trial but unfortunately, with a lot going on in life at present, missed the cancellation by a day. Granted, my mistake but I thought the company may be empathetic.. I was wrong. They flat out refused to process a refund. Hey ho, won’t be returning or recommending to anyone. Proper shoddy customer service. You’re best off sticking with Spotify!
Great music app
Has very high quality music.
Mr Efisio Monni
If you love music the way the artist intended? this is it… Qobuz is by far the best steaming provider for sound quality!
Disappointed
I’m on holiday and cannot access my music, what’s the point of this app?
Great app but still needs better search and layout choices
I have had a Qobuz account for many years now and really enjoy using the app. It is much improved and many of the past problems are being ironed out. However there has been much said by Qobuz about improving search and it just hasn’t happened. When I do a search for something specific in classical I tap on view all albums I get a very long list in what it seems is a very random order and no way to sort or filter this (in my case most recent first would be great). There are many times I have searched for a composer only not to find them until I can remember their full name and type this in. The app needs sort and filter options in more sections. Oddly with the new search changes you get a lovely tiled view of albums under the Artist tab but in Album tab just a list. You can’t see enough of the text anyway so a tiled view would at least allow me to read the album cover. Also still no way to organise your favourite albums meaningfully so I keep what is in there to a minimum.
Edit - However, I have now been round several streaming services, and Qobuz is by far the best. The sound is great, the apps are rock solid, gapless playback faultless. It is a great musical experience, apart from the above issues.
