## QODE Description
The first of its kind, the QODE App is the perfect companion to our award-winning keyboards.

The QODE App acts as a concierge for your keyboard, offering:

Battery life indicator
Never guess when to charge your keyboard. The App keeps a constant eye on your battery, letting you know how much power you have left, and notifies you when it’s time to charge up.

Quick-launch shortcuts for your favorite apps
Forget swiping and searching for your apps, set up Quick Launch keys to access apps and websites using simple keystrokes on your keyboard. Your favorite destinations are only a keystroke away.

Multiple keyboard language/layout options
Much like you, our keyboards speak multiple languages. Cycle through different languages available on your keyboard, and see them laid out on screen. You can even print or save the layouts for reference while you work.

Language Layout Support for:
US English UK English	Traditional Chinese	Simplified Chinese
French German	Spanish Italian
Swedish Danish Russian Turkish
Korean Japanese	Thai

Software updates
While you work, the App regularly checks for software updates to enhance your keyboard. It will instantly notify you of any new software and ask if, and when, you would like to install it.

Customer feedback options
The App connects you directly to the QODE team giving us feedback on your experiences. Whether it’s a suggestion to improve our keyboards, finding the answer to a question, or just to tell us how you like the App, we look forward to hearing from you!

Compatible with the following QODE keyboards:
•	Ultimate Pro for iPad Air 2 (F5L176)
•	Ultimate Pro for iPad Air (F5L171)

## QODE Reviews in United States

### ****- "Second One"
I bought my first one in 2015, I’m only replacing because the cover has worn out due to use with a lot of oils on my hands. I love the fact that you can flip the iPad and use it in portrait mode. The old keyboard still works, just the case looks horrible. I’m traveling a lot now so I don’t want such a ratty looking case. I’m taking off one star so because the case materials should be better. The software works fine.

### *---- "FIRMWARE WILL NOT UPDATE!"
Have tried multiple times, and now my backspace key on the keyboard does not work. Keeps locking up. Keyboard is great but the app is useless and/or detrimental to the functioning of the keyboard. No support on the Belkin website that I can find.

### **--- "Not very useful"
The keyboard is awesome and works great. No problems there. There is no real reason to have an app with it. I don't type in multiple languages, and I don't really care about firmware updates. I can get the battery indicator using the Batteries widget built in to iOS. The shortcut keys are just not very good. The app must always run in the background to use them, which means every time I open my iPad I have to open the app again. It's just annoying. The shortcut keys can't open Google Classroom properly either, one of the main reasons I wanted them in the first place. They just ask for an account to use, and then it sits there with the Classroom logo doing absolutely nothing. Also, it only allows you to create shortcuts for certain recognized apps rather than any app on your iPad. Why can't they let you have a shortcut for whatever you want? All in all, there is no real reason to get this app. Just use the keyboard.

### **--- "Love the keyboard, but"
The app is not intuitive at all, and offers very limited help. Help offers nothing on setting up and using launch keys, and other functionality. Improve the documentation, please.

### ***** "Great add-on for the iPad 9.7"
Great add on for the Belkin Ultimate pro for iPad Air 1. This device also works on the new iPad 9.7 2017 mode as well. All in all a great bargain.

### ***-- "Good but shortcut keys?"
Shortcut keys only work inside the QODE app... not useful...

Otherwise, it does pair easily, battery life is great. But, yeah, those shortcut keys guys... :(
-- ShammyWham, 2017-04-23

### *---- "No iPad 2/3/4"
Only works with iPad Air ;(
-- Andy in AZ, 2017-03-31

### ***** "Great Keyboard"
This keyboard is great. Have had no problems with it. Had a warranty issue and it was completely replaced. Very pleased!!
-- chc1965, 2017-01-22

### ***-- "Finally works... kind of"
New update allows the shortcut/hot keys to work... but ONLY if you open the QODE app EVERY time you unlock your ipad. If it's not actively running in the background, it doesn't work.
-- harrolldean, 2017-01-13

### ****- "Now: finally works!"
*** Update another year later: they finally made the app work with IOS10, and so the firmware can now be updated. Sure took a while, but now the app is useful again! *****

*** Update several months and one major IOS version later ***** Still won't work now w/ IOS10. What a crap support. This was the last Belkin product (in a line of many) I bought.

Months into iOS versions past 9.0, the app can't support them - there even is a firmware upgrade for the keyboard, but it can't be installed on 9.1+. Ridiculous, at this point! Get to it, Belkin! Worth zero stars if that were an option.
