## QParents Description
QParents is a secure app that provides parents of Queensland State School students with a new and exciting avenue of communication with their school. Join the thousands of parents who have already registered to gain 24-hour direct access to your student’s information and communicate with the school easily and efficiently.

Don’t have time to go in to the school and pay for next week’s excursion?

Have a family holiday coming up and need to let the school know you’ll be away? 

Want to check your student’s assessment dates quickly and easily?

With the QParents portal, you have access to everything you need to know via a single, clear student dashboard, including:

•	Student timetable,  assessment and exam dates
•	School attendance and behaviour records
•	Upcoming school excursions and events
•	Invoices and payments
•	School report cards and enrolment history 
•	Student school photo

Use QParents to manage all your children’s school needs from one convenient location by adding all school students in your family to one QParents account. You can also request updates or changes to student details using QParents, such as:

•	providing reasons for past unexplained absences
•	advising the school of future absences 
•	notifying the school of changes to student address, date of birth, and medical conditions 
•	viewing, selecting and paying outstanding invoices 

Please note that parents can only view student information using the QParents app if their student attends a school that has joined the QParents program. Parents will be invited to register for QParents by school administration once the program has been rolled out at the school.

Cant add a new student . The page just doesn’t progress. Even though all the green ticks are there.  And not every page has a back button. Which is really annoying .

Overall pretty useless. Messaging on absence requests just says completed even when it was one that needed a paper form done. Report cards we get in email anyway. Only semi useful thing is confirming that we are not overdue on something. This how it is currently could easily have been rolled into MyGov or something else surely.

QLD’s dept of education has become lazy using technology to sort their service. You can’t even sign up to this app and enter any details to sign up. We have become a bunch of dependent lazy human beings living in 2024 with the most broken corrupt systems so we can continue being hacked and ripped off👎. Yay for us so advanced useless humans with stupid apps and AI to think and process information.

Login screen doesn’t remember email or link to password manager so login is painful. I was logged out several times in one session and had to repeat the whole process of sms code, etc each time I was logged out. As others have said bank apps handle security  much better.

Just tried to log in again and this time it said a code has been sent to my email. However, I still CANNOT receive the code…
That means this app is TOTALLY USELESS!
