## Qtrade Direct Investing Reviews in Canada

### ***-- "Lacking info"
Old app had more access to market information and analysis.
New app is perhaps more user friendly functionally, but lacks the in depth data for research and doesn’t show a clear portfolio snapshot.
-- Chernozem Kavorka, 2024-11-18

### *---- "Look for alternatives"
will sell your shares unwillingly to grab more fees. Was once reasonable but not simply a taxed trading app which pulls more from you continually. Also challenging to get money out of app.
-- dp20230814, 2024-11-15

### *---- "Let’s all go back to 1.0!"
The original version was far more user friendly. The account view and sorting function get a thumbs down.
Used to be able to see top/bottom traders of the day but now I have to go to another site to see these? It seems like the developers want me to switch platforms
-- Bigger Bad Wolf, 2024-10-24

### *---- "Poor equity research"
Ok for trading but not for research.
-- Jazdave289, 2024-10-18

### *---- "Q trade"
This is a horrible site. Does not show decimal points or current portfolio info and details. I’m very disappointed the old version was way better I hope they get this dealt with!
-- 12311frg, 2024-08-29

-- EricUnMillionUn, 2024-08-28

### *---- "ID Failure"
New user, submitted my info and selfie crystal clear. For some reason it failed and I’m told to wait 30 seconds to be redicited. It never does so, tried every step to resolve different devices and everything.
-- Green is not a creative colour, 2024-08-19

### *---- "It’s not working"
It just keep switching me to a web page so I end up having to use the web browser instead of the app. This is totally useless
-- Dani3ds, 2024-08-02

### *---- "Stunningly useless"
You cannot maintain a portfolio with this app. It can do virtually beyond showing your aggregate returns and balances.
-- haroldbasset, 2024-07-31

### **--- "Unable to Switch Accounts"
The new app is better in some ways, needs serious work in others.

Pros: Easier to switch between different pages/views. You can now view detailed charts as well. Buy/sell interface is better too.

Cons: unable to switch accounts in the login screen. It forces me to use Face ID which auto logs me in to my main account. There is nowhere to decline Face ID and select a different login email. Also, it doesn’t show my tickers in alphabetical order. It should always show in alphabetical order.
-- Cheriewesson, 2024-07-17
