The Ontario Federation of All-Terrain Vehicle Clubs (OFATV) brings an enhanced version of its web recreational Trail Guide to your pockets, making for a better riding experience than ever. Working both with and WITHOUT mobile data coverage, you will be able to enjoy the app’s functionalities no matter where you are on the trails.
This app gives you access to the following *OFFLINE* features, anywhere, anytime, even in areas without cell coverage:
► See your location on the map through your phone’s GPS signal
► View nearby restaurants, gas stations, hotels, parking, and other services
► Access the trails conditions as per the last data connection available
► See the distance between you and a specific point
► Quickly save and load itineraries
Getting back to a zone with mobile coverage? Enjoy these additional *ONLINE* features :
► Keep an eye on updated trail statuses for the best riding experience
► Easily meet with friends by sharing your position with each other (no one else can see your location)
► Plan out an itinerary and share it with your group

Notes:
►Continued use of the GPS and location sharing running in the background can significantly increase battery consumption. It is recommended to toggle it off when not needed to improve autonomy.
The Pro Version is a 4.99$ CAD per year auto-renewable subscription. Payment will be charged to the iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s account settings after purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

Perfect companion
Great app with good functionality. It would be nice to see an electronic trail permit that could be added to Apple Wallet.
Mapping your route.
The app works great for figuring out which direction to travel to try to hit every trail in a forest area. I only wish it would continue tracking with the phone closed. Simple due to the amount of battery life used to run and track with the app. It can completely depreciate a full battery in a 3 hr ride.
Large font
App is very good and accurate but when zooming in the street name don’t enlarge and make it hard to read when using.

Pretty decent app, just wish you could use the trail route part as a live gps also. Especially for riders that don’t know the area. All in all really user friendly.

Poor App
no wonder it was so little reviews, so ontario you want to promote ATV riding while fix this app - having driven to the north to do riding I expected more - better base map not everyone needs satellite but a good base (topo) is critical, when selecting a trail it needs to show the level of difficultly and Km section for what is selected. As a key demographic for this app - i'll be paying for the backroad map version and not wasting my 10 bucks in this,

Firstly, I love the app! The updates showing washouts and repairs are great!! The only improvement I would want is for the app to auto focus when you are runnning the trails vs me having to move the focus
