Listen to All The Things You are for example. Between looped choruses, the piano player fails to play either a 5 chord or a 2 5 that brings you to the next chorus. This is an unfortunate defect that occurs on the number of tunes. This is a truly unfortunate and ruins would be would be always perfect rhythm section performances. What would also be nice would be the ability to control the volume of each instrument. But I imagine through the garage band app that that is ultimately achievable. -- Joe Cannavo, 2023-02-25 ### ***** "Big congrats from Chris Standring!" I have been jamming to your new quartet app all afternoon and it is absolutely phenomenal. I’m always looking for super high quality ready made backing tracks. These are so good I felt like I was in the room playing live with a band. I have to say this is hands down the best I have heard. Real players playing together, and so musically too. The brilliance is the ability to select a different key to any song and set the tempo too. All these songs are must-know titles from the jazz repertoire and I feel like digging in deep. Congrats to all you guys, you have a clear winner! -- solarchris, 2022-10-10 ### ***-- "Very different from this developer" I own 10 Session Band apps. This is quite a departure from them. Noticeably lacking is an instrument mixer and that’s the main reason for the rating. I also don’t understand the “ In The Style Of” qualifier. Is the developer concerned about copyright infringement? I also have iReal Pro and it doesn’t qualify any tune. Also wondering why there isn’t a midi out function. I suggest future versions address my concerns. I’d gladly pay a nominal fee for a mixer and midi out. -- BDC1989, 2022-10-02 ### ****- "Great to jam with but.." This is the same quality you would expect from this development team. There other apps are just as good. I would ask that the developers implement real Jazz Guitar chords instead of basic chords. It’s just not as fun following along to just basic chords. Implement real Jazz Guitar Chords and this will be the only app anyone will need! -- SuperMar69, 2022-09-24 ### ***** "Finally! Ive found by Band!" I'm a "freelance" musician, looking for Backing Tracks/Chord progressions that are "professional" enough and royalty free to warrant my recording with for marketing CDs. Ive got a half dozen candidate apps/sites that I try to make do with, but These are the Ones! I need look no further. And the flexibility for Key, Tempo, and Instrument Choice is spot on. Hopefully, the app developers will add more genres to their new app offerings, but these will hold me for a while. Great Job! Congrats! ps Altho the Stem files are designed for export to Garageband, which is not easy to move them from to other DAW apps, the Share Stems does transfer them easily to my DAW, Cubasis 3. -- OjBluzzmn, 2022-09-24 ### *---- "Double charge" Why I am being charge $ 6.00 dollar if is being advertise for $ 3.00 is beyond Me. Can I please get my money back -- joscerrat, 2022-09-23 ### ***-- "Endings? Not so much" Okay. The app is good. Definitely worth the price. Ia couple of things. First, repeats of a section are carbon copies. The fills and things are cool and sound good, but you’re going to hear the same parts if you have multiple choruses. But the big issue for me is endings. I was so excited when it said endings, but so far in my exploring I have found 0 actual endings. No new chord progression, no synchronized rhythms or hits, no piano riffs. Every song’s ending is just a hung chord. It sounds very awkward on some of them. Too bad. Still, it’s worth picking up. Feel is good. The organization is good. Took me a while to find the different combos but they switch seemlessly. As far as I can tell, they are not different arrangements, just subtractive arranging. To be fair, I haven’t explored it fully, but that’s my 2c. -- wisegurumonkey, 2022-09-23 [View all Quartet 1 reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Quartet 1 In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Upgrade song | $0.99 | | Buy 10 tokens | $8.99 | | Buy 20 tokens | $14.99 | | Buy 50 tokens | $22.99 | | Upgrade all songs | $49.99 | ## Quartet 1 Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Austria | Music | #23 | | Top Paid | United Kingdom | Music | #105 | | Top Paid | United States | Music | #140 | | Top Paid | Austria | Overall | #214 | | Top Paid | Chile | Music | #244 | ## Apps Similar to Quartet 1 -
