Description

The #1 speed-reading technology on earth. (And maybe even Mars.) From best-selling novels to how-to books to self-improvement to business reports and more, our proven software guides—and trains—your eyes to read at a rapidly accelerated rate.
READ FASTER BY 2-3X, SUPER HUMAN STYLE
Set your reading speed from 10-4,000 words per minute, and keep challenging your own time. With a couple of taps, the app speeds up, and you can always control how fast you go. Most people are shocked at how efficient they are while still processing and retaining information! (You can read normal, too, just in case.)
CUSTOMIZABLE EVERYTHING (EVEN THAT)
From designer color schemes to fonts; margins to interface, the app bends to your will with every preference, making this the perfect “skin” for you to read all of your books on, no matter how fast or slow.
TOUCH FREE AUTO PILOT (AKA FLASH LIGHTNING MODE)
With Guided Reading Technology, you set the speed and the pages turn for you. And the best part? The gains you make in-app carry over to regular, un-guided reading.Throw in a butler and some fancy cheese and you might just be set for life. (Or at least have a pretty sharp advantage over all of mankind.)
BONUS ACCESS: 2 MILLION BOOKS, FOR FREE!
Books are our world—and we’ve got an entire family of apps dedicated to book lovers. That means we can also bring you all sorts of access to free titles that other speed reading apps can’t. Hip, hip, hooray!

HELP, tell me how to import other catalogs

bringthespring35 on

他のカタログをどうやったら追加出来ますか?どなたか教えて頂けませんでしょうか? I'm a Japanese user, I couldn't import other catalogs paid in eReader, iBooks or Stanza to QuickReader. What am I supposed to do? My operation was as follows: eReader上に購入済みの本が読みたいのですがうまく行きませんでした、操作は以下の様に行いました… main screen > normal reading > import > download more than one book > tap "edit" button > add other catalogs(tap green "+" button) > input catalog's URL, title, subtitle > tap "add" button > popped up "error occurred during catalog addition, like incorrect URL." *I tried Stanza's URL in Apple Store since I couldn't find out eReader Pro's URL as it vanished in the store. It doesn't seem to have specifics for it in QuickReader. メイン→普通の読書→インポート→複数の本をダウンロード→編集→他のカタログ追(グリーン+ボタンタップ)→カタログURL、タイトル、副題→追加ボタンタップ→「カタログに追加中エラー発生 URLが正しくないようです」となりました。※ eReaderアプリがApple Storeから消えていたので、Apple Store上のStanzaのアプリのURLを入力して追加を試してみました。QuickReader自体にはガイドがないようです。

QuickReader is very nicely done -- having the moving highlight pushing me along in the text is very effective. Sometimes it feels like I want to move ahead of it, and other times I feel I’m being pulled along faster than I would have read otherwise. IOW it’s showing me just how turbulent my reading speed tends to be. It’ll be nice to have an opportunity to even things out. I totally love how it automatically interfaces with the ebook library in Calibre, where I have all my ebooks stored anyway. I just opened the "Books in calibre" item and all my books in Calibre (already running on my Mac) were automagically listed right there on the iPhone. Didn’t have to set anything up at all. So now I have lots of interesting things to read. Nifty! There is one problem, though it's really outside of the design of the app -- QuickReader isn't good with Japanese text. It does display it just fine, but without spaces between the words QR doesn't know where to divide things so the moving highlight can’t split text into e.g. three chunks-per-line. It just displays each line as one chunk, meaning at the same speed setting it scrolls down the page at triple speed :D. But it’s not designed for Japanese text, so that’s not worth a star off. Totally worth the 700 yen.
