Excellent wished I discovered this earlier
If you are looking for a way to speed up reading and comprehension should you have a stack of books ans content to get through this app has got you covered.
Widening
The art of reading well and at speed has alluded me for over two decades. With QuickReader I can feel that my reading speed comprehension and thoughts about what I am reading grow exponentially. A buzz, a joy, a wonderful surprise.
Poor poor app
Going to request a refund for this nonsense. How is this supposed to train?
Pros and cons
Pros Very good once a book is loaded. Great easy glare alteration feature. Cons Graphic covers are much too small to be of any use whatsoever. Extremely slow in scrolling through book titles. Very poor in identifying author names, resulting in multi catalogues for one person and their books. Correctable via conversion to ePub in Calibre.
20000 leagues under the see with Quick Reader
Really nice interface, great way to pick your reading pace up. I used a combination of guided reading and speed tests to improve.
Hands free
A little-known attribute of this app is that you can read an book hands-free. When you use "guided reading", the pages will turn automatically.
Useless and terrible app
With this app you do nothing. You cannot load a pdf, you can’t load from a url. You can only be forced to read from a library of free books. I feel like I’ve donated money to this developer as I am going to remove this app after 15 minutes of using it. Apple should introduce refunds asap.
Works well
Whenever I use this app, I end up finding more interesting stuff.
