## QuickSpec Description
View an Up-to-Date library of Building Regs Specifications for Domestic/Residential Building Projects including House Extensions, Loft Conversions, Garage Conversions, Flat Conversion, New Builds, New Build Flats, Basement Conversions and Garage Builds.
Specifications are constantly reviewed and updated to be inline with the latest Building Regulations. Specifications are calculated & compiled to be inline with current U-Value requirements.
The library includes more than 1500 Building Regulations Specifications and provides a dedicated section for compiling and editing a bespoke specification which can then be shared.

The Specifications are for use with Domestic/Residential building projects in England and Wales and are categorised into subsections including Roofs, Floors, Walls, Structure, Foundations, Internal Works, Means of Escape & Fire Regulations, Windows & Doors, Ventilation, Planning Permitted Development, Drainage, Renewable Energy.
Once within a section, navigate through the subcategories to find the specification that you need, then add it to your bespoke specification.

For example, our Roof sections include various:
-Roof types (Pitched/Flat roofs, Hipped Roofs, Trussed Rafter roofs)
-Insulation levels (Insulation-at-rafter-level, Insulation-at-ceiling-level, Insulation-between-and-over-rafters)
-Cold/Warm roofs
-Roof spans and joist/rafter sizes
-Roof build-up types (Build up felt, single-ply membrane, GRP)
-Insulation types.
Similarly, the Walls and Floors sections provides a large choice of specifications with various structures, insulation types etc.

Our Wall, Floor and Roof specifications include a U Value to comply with Building Regulations.
The new build sections provide specifications for a Notional dwelling  as well as for Limiting Standards with worst acceptable values for many individual elements.

The library includes specifications for  Stairs, Tanking, Chimneys, External/Internal Lighting, Timber Frame, Wall Ties, Cavities, DPC, Movement Joints, Party Walls, Cavity Barriers, Thermal Bridging, CDM Regs, Planning (Permitted Development), Radon Protection, Beams and Fire Protection, Lintels, Openings and Wall Returns, Solid Floors, Timber Suspended Floors, Block and Beam Floors, Solid Walls, Cavity Walls, Timber Framed Walls, Walls with External Insulation, Smoke Detection, Unprotected Areas, Escape Windows, Minimum Periods of Fire Resistance, Safety Glazing, Roof Lights, Door/Window U Values, Extract Ventilation, Purge Ventilation, Background Ventilation, Wall / Roof / Floor Ventilation, Hot and Cold Water Supply, Hot Water Storage, Electrics, Gas Heating, Wood Burning Stoves, Oil Heating, Oil Storage Tanks, Underfloor Heating, Electric Heating, Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Air Source Heat Pumps, Energy Performance, Air Pressure Testing, Air Tightness, System Controls and Zoning
