some annoying things
Seems like a well thought out and well functioning app, but I haven’t used it long enough to tell if it is effective.
My only major grief is that between the induction and the therapy recordings, there are a few high pitched clicks, and the therapy recording is much louder than the induction. It just annoys me every time when the therapy starts, which I would assume is fairly contraproductive.
It really does work
I've been smoking for 25 years and tried a few different methods of stopping. I listened to this app every night for 4 weeks and slowly I lost my urge to have a cigarette and stopped without any cravings. I really recommend using this app to stop smoking. Thank you Andrew Johnson xx
i love it!
i was a heavy smoker for 10 years never tried to stop. then i found Dr Andrews app. listen to it every night for few weeks, and always fell asleep. i dont even know what he was talking about after 5-10 min but now i am smoke free for 2,5 months! well, it worked for me so THANK YOU 👍

I'm not sure if this app alone helped me to stop smoking as I was also taking champix but I have not had a cigarette for almost 9 weeks now! No matter what you do it will always take will power to stop smoking but things like this can only help to make it that little bit easier... And if nothing else it's great for a good night's sleep! I would recommend but only if you are dead set on giving up and remember it's not a miracle app!
I've quit!
I have been using this app for 2 weeks now and after 12 years of smoking I have not had a cigarette for 8 days and I feel great! Let's hope I can stick to it with the help of this app!!

Well, I'm not sure if this app alone has stopped me smoking as ive been using patches too, however it still needs will power! But I'm doing much better at quitting than I have ever done before! Andrews app has really helped me with my quality if sleep though, which has given me more energy and the focus on getting healthy remains! I recommend, but please don't think it will magically make you stop overnight! You will still need to really want to quit and have will power!!

Love the customisation of Andrews apps. Short or long intros, repeat the main section multiple times and choose to wake up or sleep. As with other apps by Andrew he makes the most of the dynamic iOS platform rather than a static audio file like other apps in the same category which might as well be in the music store.
His soft Scottish accent is very relaxing and friendly whilst still being authoritative. The content of the hypnosis is very good with accents on NON smoker etc all at a relaxed pace with pleasing music.
If you are thinking of stopping smoking get this app.

I gave up and was determined, but struggling! The cravings were intense and the habit was hard to beat! I down loaded this app and listened to it through the night! Today I have absolutely NO desire to smoke and no cravings! It is incredible! But I probably must stress that you have to have the determination in the first place!!! Good luck!
very relaxing
to start with i was sceptical as i have tried hypnosis before but this time i felt more relaxed. i will definatly keep listening to this for a few weeks as trying for my second baby. thankyou andrew
