## QuoteMeHappy Connect Description
The Quotemehappy Connect app rewards you with points simply for driving safely and a personalised renewal price based on your driving. You’ll see a weekly driver rating in the app dashboard and receive regular feedback so you’ll always know how you’re doing. Whether you have a red, amber, green or gold driver rating we’ll show you how to improve your driving style and give you time to achieve this. If your driving style is more risky and doesn’t improve your insurance could be cancelled.


The safer you drive the more reward points you can get to spend on the things you love.   It’s simple - safer drivers get better rewards.

How does the Quotemehappy Connect app work?

The Quotemehappy Connect app uses sensors in your smartphone connected to a small device which you’ll need to attach to your car windscreen (so the app knows your car is being driven). The app automatically records how your car is driven and gives a rating for each trip by measuring:
•	Speed – how fast you drive compared to the legal road limits
•	Smoothness – if harsh braking, acceleration or cornering is affecting your rating
•	Distracted driving – if you make a phone call, use your smartphone screen which distracts your driving
•	Usage – when you’re driving, if you’re doing lots of journeys each day or driving without a break

Key features of the app
•	Your trip details – a personalised dashboard showing your trips, driving behaviours and map details of where you can improve
•	Driver ratings – your weekly driver rating and a breakdown of your speed, distracted driving, usage and smooth driving
•	Rewards – if you’ve earnt points, your current balance and where you can bank and redeem them for e-giftcards
•	Overall driver rating –  a view of your overall driver rating and how this contributes to your renewal price

I’ve been with 3 companies with black box device fitted and this is by far the worst one so far none of my drive ever get recorded and it marks me for speeding when I’m doing under the speed limit and you can’t call anyone to get it sorted just a useless online chat which just tells you the same thing again and again once my policy is over I will never use this company again and would not recommend anyone to use it.

It’s said my driving was perfect twice now but put down 54% phone usage when my phone was on do not disturbed and not used the whole way not even for the satnav as my partners was on . I’m very unhappy with this device theirs even no one to complain to about inaccurate results as they don’t have a customer service number! It’s frustrating because I am making a conscious effort to drive correctly and I am still getting a bad review for things I am not doing! Try your best to avoid this insurance it’s not worth the stress and frustration of getting inaccurate reviews that could affect your insurance policy

This app is a joke, can’t even log into my account after attempting plenty of times it’s ridiculous. Now they’re threatening to cancel my policy due to the fact I haven’t set it up yet, when I’ve contacted them countless times and they’ve offered no help.

### **--- "Not quite the best black box app (by a mile)"
Absolutely insane battery usage for what is supposed to be an insurance tracker.

Not sure why the app is using three times the battery as Life360, an actual tracking app which is tracking 24/7, when Quotemehappy is only supposed to be tracking driving behaviour.

Really concerning usage, considering I can spend many days away from the car at a time. Certainly has alarm bells ringing.

Support doesn’t acknowledge a problem and suggests a newer phone. Upon my next renewal I’ll be looking at another company as I’ve had better experiences previously, going far beyond the apps unexplained running.

This app is frustrating, firstly it doesn’t always connect to the black box so you have to reconnect, but only apparent if you open the app. Sometimes it says you have to log out and in again, similar problem as not obvious unless you open the app every time, so not all journeys get tracked.
Now the driving, it just doesn’t detect areas like speed humps and school 20 zones properly where you have to slow down and speed up, it marks you down for smoothness/braking when there is simply nothing you can do, same for country roads where I drove extremely cautiously when the weather was bad but got marked down for this as well so can’t win.
The concept is great but it is just not intelligent enough to track what I class as careful/normal driving. I’ve had a few 100% ratings on some longer journeys but around town no chance. Unfortunately stuck with it for 12 months but wanted to air my frustration.

I’ve had insurance for the past 7 months with the company. In this period I’ve been giving really low scores for usage when going to do shopping or daily activities and distracted driving when I’m parked or hadn’t moved in the car or even when I’m just getting out. The apps in inconsistent it doesn’t track every drive and I’ve just had my policy cancelled and every email was sent to junk and not inbox so I wasn’t even aware of what was going on. There’s 0 customer service as there’s no number to call and when you email they simply don’t reply back to you. Do not sign up with the company !!!!!
