## Quran Unlock Description
Quran Unlock blocks your distracting apps until you have read Quran. Join 300,000+ Muslims building better habits through faith.

Struggling to read Quran consistently? You are not alone. Social media, games, and endless scrolling steal our time. Quran Unlock flips the script: your apps stay locked until you prioritize what truly matters.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose the apps that distract you most: Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, or whatever pulls you in.
2. Pick your prayer times: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha.
3. After each prayer, your apps stay locked until you have read 5 minutes of Quran.
4. Read. Listen. Reflect. Your apps unlock automatically.

No willpower battles. No guilt loops. Just a gentle nudge that turns every prayer into a moment of remembrance.

INSIDE THE APP

Reels Mode: TikTok-style vertical verse feed with word-by-word recitation highlighting. Swipe through ayahs, listen to the Quran like never before.

Mushaf Reader: full 604-page canonical layout, tap any verse to hear it recited by Mishary, Husary, Alafasy and more.

Per-Prayer Goals: each prayer is its own commitment. Complete Fajr's 5 min and your apps unlock until Dhuhr starts. Then a fresh window opens with the same threshold and a new opportunity.

15 Languages: Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, Spanish, Malay, Farsi, Russian, Hindi, Bengali, Italian, Portuguese, German. Translation, transliteration, recitation: all in your language.

Streak Tracking: see your daily progress, unlock badges, build a habit that lasts.

Custom Rules: set your own challenges. Block Twitter until I finish Surah Al-Mulk. No social media until I read 10 ayahs of Al-Baqarah. Your goals, your rules.

Friday Al-Kahf: automatically armed every Friday.

Daily Azkar: morning and evening remembrances integrated into your routine.

WHY IT WORKS

We do not preach. We do not shame. We use the same psychology that makes social media addictive, but in reverse. By placing 5 minutes of Quran between you and Instagram, every reach for your phone becomes a chance for dhikr.

Whether you are starting your journey or rebuilding consistency after years away, Quran Unlock meets you where you are. Some users start with 1 prayer per day. Others lock all five. Your pace, your path.

PRIVACY FIRST

We use Apple's Screen Time framework to lock your apps locally on your device. We do not see what apps you use. We do not track your reading. Your spiritual journey is between you and Allah.

No ads. No data selling. Premium subscription unlocks unlimited blocked apps and custom rules, but the core habit-building experience is free forever.

OUR MISSION

We built Quran Unlock because we needed it ourselves. Every line of code is dua. Every feature is a small act of love for the Ummah.

300,000+ Muslims. 15 languages. One mission: bring the Quran back into our daily lives.

Finally an app that actually helps me read Quran daily.
Changed my relationship with my phone.
Best Islamic app I have ever used.

DOWNLOAD NOW

Start with Fajr tomorrow. InshaAllah, your future self will thank you.

May Allah accept it from us all. JazakAllahu khayran.

## Quran Unlock Reviews in Nigeria

### ***-- "Ease of registration and use"
I love the app and have been using it for quite some time. However, over time with new updates, the registration process has become increasingly tedious, with too many questions and steps.

The earlier versions were much simpler—you could simply register and lock the app you wanted. That process was straightforward and user-friendly.

After the most recent update, the app required me to register again. Unfortunately, whenever I try to start the registration process, I’m unable to complete it. The lengthy process makes it difficult to get through the setup.

I would really appreciate it if the registration process could be simplified, similar to the earlier versions. A quicker and more straightforward setup would make the app much easier to use.

### ***** "App update review"
Assalamu alaykum,
Just my honest review.
Please stick with functionalities of the app not how it looks(aesthetics) please.
The update are very hard to deal with, preferably the first theme was fantastic bt the last two are a degrade to the functionality of the app.
Thank you.
-- Vcmsy, 2026-08-08

### *---- "COMPLAIN"
I don’t understand the app anymore since they updated it, it don’t use to locks my apps when it is time for prayer or dhikir, please consider this and work on it, thank you.
-- SALMA(Mimic), 2026-07-22

### *---- "This New update"
This new update discourages people from using the app, the simplicity is not there anymore but rather aesthetic. It’s just so hard to use, please do something or bring back our old update
-- yahaya ilyas, 2026-07-04

### ***** "Old version better"
Great app! Wish the new version was as easier to use as the old one. Maybe I’m just old! Excellent app for Muslims overall !
-- Abarshi.Jr, 2026-06-16

### ***-- "Update"
Thank you for all you do in this app but I think lately, the app has been going in not too okay direction. The latest update changed a lot of things even the way the pages are be biend changed. To be honest I don't like the format of the new pages. I think a lot people are on this table. Thank you
-- Turadumoh, 2026-06-01

### ****- "Awesome App"
Alhamdulillah I have been using this App for the past 4 months and I will recommend it to every muslim. May Allah bless the developer. I also want to bring to the attention of the developer about the recent update and the way it has changed how Qur’an pages are now displayed. I prefer how it was previously because right now it is just the Arabic text displayed not formatted like our physical Qur’an. I don’t know if it is only me.
-- itz_thaani, 2026-05-25

### ****- "Rating the old version of this better than this new update"
I find the new update harder to deal with. There is a lot more focus on the aesthetics rather than the functionality for the average person who just wants to have an app that locks him out of other apps which he gets his ibaadah done. I wish the old version stayed
-- Nabeelah Nurayyn, 2026-05-14

### ***** "The app. Does not work on my new phone"
Hi
I have been using this app for 3 months, then I recently changed my phone. I try installing it on my new phone but once it gets to the final stage of the apps, to block it will stop even when attempt to press the Done bottom.
-- M.yara, 2026-03-05

### *---- "Only 3 apps free"
Initially I could choose more than 3 apps. But now i can only choose 3 for free version. You didn’t consider who can’t afford it? You can even add more premium features but not the number of apps to choose from
-- Mieererhh, 2026-02-18

### ***** "My favorite part"
The app is very helpful to any who is willing to stay consistent on his reading journey
-- Uthman26, 2026-01-28

### ***-- "Screen time setup taking long"
Assalamu Alaykumm. Ever since I downloaded the app, I have not successfully passed the screen time setup phase. It always loading, after I select my apps. Mind you, I have updated my app, my iOS is a versions above 18.0.

I would appreciate if any help is rendered.
-- Meee_na, 2026-01-24

Subhanallah
-- Nana Asmau, 2026-01-22

JazakAllahu khairan.
-- Garbatai, 2026-01-09

### ****- "App Blocking"
I’ve been enjoying the app. Jazakhallahu khairan. But the recent update came with its pros and cons. Can we get an increase in the number of apps to be blocked for free users? It was unlimited but now it’s just 3 😔
-- cnjvvij, 2026-01-02

### ***** "🙏"
