Qustodio Parental Control App

App stopped to work 10+ times in the past year. It doesnt allow to whitelist apps from screentime limit - e.g. school apps, educational stuff, music, etc. I need to fix app permission problems every month or after every update.

I bought the basic plan, where there was also listed that you can limit the time on apps. It was working for several weeks. Out of nowhere it stopped working, because they did the update on the plan and moved the limitation to premium plan, which I am not willing to pay as I already paid for the basic plan, where the limitation was before. I dont understand this behaviour regarding the customers who already paid for certain plan.

The app was working fine for some months but without any reason nor previous information the protection doesn’t work an more. Although the computer protestech with the kids app is running every day my parent app shows it as offline and the last activity detected on 10th october this year. I wanted to reduce the time on PC for my son within the time i am at work but with this status the app isn’t helpful. And i really don’t know how to repair it.

Used with iPhone 8 - all devices, data about kids activity from the app unreliable, different in the app and in sent E-Mails, Localization Function works only when the kids use the phones, kids are easily able to use their phones even in restricted times, many apps/ games cant be blocked, and so on, very disappointed, wasted money.

I purchased the upgrade so that I can monitor my child’s phone calls and text messages. However, I have tried over 10 times to connect my child’s device and unfortunately can never find the device. I have tried multiple cords. Nothing I’ve done is allowing me to connect therefore spending $99 a year is a complete waste of money.

It’s really handy for both us and our kid, to be honest. Time management is such a useful skill, and this can help with that. One thing that would be nice is if we could say apps like Pandora don’t count against screen time. Also, it would be great if the “find my” feature worked after the time is up for the day.

This app looked promising as it advertised everything we were looking for in parental control SW. However, not only was the kids app a NIGHTMARE to install on their device, we DO NOT get records of sent messages by our kid, only those received by our kid- and we do not get all of those either, only select messages. The pause internet feature also doesn’t appear to work as well as advertised. It’s been only 2 days but my wife and I are not happy with this.

I just recently downloaded this app and paid for the membership fee. It has helped being able to control activity from my own phone, however the program is pretty all or nothing. Even though they were supposed to be routine routines where I can give partial permission for specific apps, Those partial permission rules don’t work and my children still have full access to all of their games and social media. It only works if I completely lock their phones for bedtime or the phones are completely open. For the price tag, I don’t think the functionality matches. I would expect that the rules for partial permissions would be fully functional And just better.

This app only works half the time. You have to constantly delete it, shut off the phone, redownload it. The blocking feature only works if you block the app you want blocked completely from the main menu, not if you block it for just one day a week. I will be trying another app for parental control.
