The app talks a good game but is not at all reliable. It over records time spent on apps at times, and other times it does not record at all. It shows devices active when they are not, it also randomly gives 15 min timers on the child’s device when there is a lot more time left. Save your money and find another monitoring app.
I paid for this software and yet despite putting in all the restrictions, my 10 years old son is able to bypass it and open whatever he wants and whenever he wants. You need better engineers for sure.
Does not work as expected and configuring is a pain
Restrictions don’t become effective at all. Worked initially and doesn’t work any more.
The software seemed to be very useful at first but I later found out that it is very erratic. Even after applying restricted time for the device, his what’s app is still working some times. I tried to reach out to them for help, but there is no way I can reach them for my concerns
So my 13yo found a way to exploit the app by disabling it via the task manager on the PC. How is that possible?
I purchased the upgrade so that I can monitor my child’s phone calls and text messages. However, I have tried over 10 times to connect my child’s device and unfortunately can never find the device. I have tried multiple cords. Nothing I’ve done is allowing me to connect therefore spending $99 a year is a complete waste of money.
It’s really handy for both us and our kid, to be honest. Time management is such a useful skill, and this can help with that. One thing that would be nice is if we could say apps like Pandora don’t count against screen time. Also, it would be great if the “find my” feature worked after the time is up for the day.
This app looked promising as it advertised everything we were looking for in parental control SW. However, not only was the kids app a NIGHTMARE to install on their device, we DO NOT get records of sent messages by our kid, only those received by our kid- and we do not get all of those either, only select messages. The pause internet feature also doesn’t appear to work as well as advertised. It’s been only 2 days but my wife and I are not happy with this.
I just recently downloaded this app and paid for the membership fee. It has helped being able to control activity from my own phone, however the program is pretty all or nothing. Even though they were supposed to be routine routines where I can give partial permission for specific apps, Those partial permission rules don’t work and my children still have full access to all of their games and social media. It only works if I completely lock their phones for bedtime or the phones are completely open. For the price tag, I don’t think the functionality matches. I would expect that the rules for partial permissions would be fully functional And just better.
