## RACQ Roadside Assistance Reviews in Australia

### *---- "Most useless app ever don’t bother"
Every single time you leave the app to look at another page it resets, so absolutely frustrating, full of inaccuracies and glitches don’t bother just sit and wait for ever and hope they turn up 🙄
-- HIPPYCHICK30, 2024-10-11

### *---- "Extremely glitchy"
So I downloaded the app. Went to start setting it up, the notification pops up to allow or not allow Location data to be used, but for some reason neither button was doing anything. Froze my phone, kept that Allow/Don’t Allow on my screen and meant that I could not do anything else on the phone. couldn’t unlock it again, couldn’t even turn the phone OFF!!! So I had to let my phone die so that I could actually unlock my phone and delete this app.

### *---- "Why hasn’t this app been updated?"
I’m seeing reviews from 3-5 years ago stating the problems they’ve had and improvements that could be changed and yet nothing has been updated?

Why am I having to call them to organise a tow truck to spend an 20 minutes on hold then another 40 minutes on the phone trying to figure out the exact location I’m in? Even when you press the button saying you don’t need a tow truck or it’s not an emergency, you still have to call on the other choices. You know my location, you have my details, my roadside payment plan. Why do I have to spend 40 mins on a phone call??

Fix this app, it could be so streamlined for every Aussie that breaks down to just tap some buttons and have a tow truck on the way with a live tracker.

If this doesn’t get fixed, I will put in a formal complaint. All these reviews & no changes!

Thanks.

### *---- "Useless"
Cannot identity my address, so it cannot fulfill it’s only function. Useless
-- tummy tickles, 2024-06-05

### *---- "Terrible"
I have never been able to get this app to work. I get right to the end of inputting my details and it will never submit. I end up having to phone every time.

### *---- "Useless app"
Process of booking a call out seems straightforward but don’t be fooled. After entering the email and password I was presented with form to give my card details, registration etc. there was a button suggesting that I could use my profile information to fill out the form. However, when I clicked onto the button, it went to my membership card details in the app, and there was absolutely no way of transferring this information into the form, so I had to enter it manually. As if that isn’t enough replication, I then had to enter all of my car details, even though I would have imagined that the app would have hooked up with my profile and got that information. I had to say I had to say what the brand of car I had model etc etc. What is the point of having an app that one would assume is linked to the details that RACQ already has on me? This is the second time I have had to enter all of the information manually therefore my feeling is that the app is useless.

### **--- "Annoying"
The app is ok but constantly required to log in very annoying and doesn’t remember passwords well either.
-- Cmurg1, 2024-03-27

### *---- "Freaking useless"
Always log you out, need to enter membership numbers, contact, registration.
-- Devidi, 2024-03-14

### *---- "Car not going"
Over 3 hours in the Sun and still waiting to the track after 40 years of membership not sure what going on but Racq is not the same
-- amos Lavi, 2024-02-21

### ***** "Good app, but could be much better."
Would be good if you could ‘search’ or ‘select’ specific petrol stations to see which has the best in your area ie. just search all the BP’s, or 7/11s. Rather than showing every single servo.
Also would be good if users could give instant feedback that would update the app whenever a fuel price on the app is incorrect.
Other than that is a pretty good app.
