RadarScope

Professional weather radar

Published by: Base Velocity

Description

RadarScope is an AMS-award-winning weather visualization tool that empowers meteorologists, public safety officials, storm spotters, and weather enthusiasts to view a full suite of single-site radar data and related severe weather products. Your initial purchase provides professional radar visualization in a fully native app, free from distracting and invasive practices, with optional subscription packages to add even more capabilities.
Whether you’re scanning for a mesocyclone’s tell-tale hook echo, pinpointing the landfall of a hurricane’s eye wall, or identifying velocity couplet, hail spike, or debris ball signatures, RadarScope displays native radar data in its original radial format. You see what the radar sees almost as soon as the radar sees it, with automatic updates every two to ten minutes depending on the radar’s scanning strategy.

RadarScope Reviews

No UK support, no refunds. Avoid.

This is an outrageous rip off. Not detailed in the App Store and less data than was previously versions of DTN’s previously great Weather Pro (now hobbled and innacurate) and Weather Earth ( withdrawn shortly into a pro subscription). No refunds forthcoming. Avoid.

Sorry but this is a joke

So I paid £100 for what I thought was a fully featured satellite ans Weather app. In fact, all it consists of a radar map. Nothing else. No menu. No options of any kind. I’ve asked for a refund.

Only for America

Bezza1964 on

United Kingdom

It doesn't tell you in the app store but this app only works for American weather and the catch is that to find that out you have to download it and open it, resulting in you being charged for the full years subscription which is worthless anywhere else in the World.

One of the best !!

Abstergo72UK on

This has to be one of the best weather radar apps out there ?? With many different modes which is perfect for myself to keep an eye on severe weather in the US for my family who live there. The only reason I will never give this a 5 star rating is because they won’t make it work here in the U.K. When they do that, I will rate it 5 out of 5 😉 !! I mean, this is the U.K. we invented rain lol 😂 and as it gets hotter and more humid, we do get severe thunderstorms and the odd tornado from time to time !! I’d like to be able to track them myself as I don’t rely on the Met Office as they have been known to be asleep at the wheel when it comes to issuing alerts ??

Such a nice app but no UK coverage :(

A bit pricey

The Rodway on

United Kingdom

I have been using the free version for a while now and the reason for that being that it’s quite pricey apart from that great app.
