It’s helped me so much with practicing my lines and memorizing them for an audition. It’s also been so helpful as a reader for an actual audition! I love the feature to be able to customize the way they say the lines. (Beware of your accent shining through to the AI in custom recordings). I like that the feature to add a timer to lines was added. If this app is perfected, I could see this being my go to for every audition. Right now is just not up to par to replace an actual reader. Features I’d like to see that could bring it closer to replacing the reader would be: a reader only mode for other modes of filming (via mirrorless camera, or another camera) where it will still pick up on cue lines or timer without filming the self tape from the phone; the ability to delete lines from the preview given that casting directors usually cut lines and start mid page. The app disregards the markings that cut lines and adds them into the preview, having the actor go and screenshot the script, crop, convert to pdf and have to use “extra tokens” for just the one audition with multiple scenes.
