This is very similar to a game I played in mini-clip many years ago for free. The game is fun and fair until chapter 39 when it doesn’t get difficult it become simply impossible. You can have the best game, so good each wave lasts seconds but when a boss comes out they are untouchable… how to pass the level you ask? You can’t unless you pay for more of the same says my internet research. It could be a “bug” but I really doubt it. Can you explain a floor full of a variety of towers and direct attacks doing 0% damage to bosses. Even if you lose and revive (that should take down the last opponent) the boss Santa Claus is still there hitting hard and killing you instantly making you waste hearts. Make the game worth my money, don’t trick me for it! What kind of game limits your playtime by putting these restrictions? It’s frustrating watching a lone bomber have free rein through multiple cannons because the cannons target enemies behind them. For the love of just common sense please fix this, or at the very least, provide a function when placing a tower that you can assign them “highest hp” or “lowest hp” or “nearest enemy to target” It makes zero sense that I place a tower right next to my base and won’t attack an enemy destroying my base because targets farther away that are within range apparently are a priority. In play upgrades are random which is extremely frustrating, as you will frequently lose due to not getting a tower you loaded for that level. For example, I loaded 3 towers to combat air based enemies. 15 rounds in, none had dropped so I lost to a swarm of air drones. You can’t strategize due to the randomized tower mechanic. Thankfully lives are unlimited but the randomness is really designed to push you to pay for upgrades. A lot of times the random items don’t even include towers but roadway or expanded towers, when really what I need are towers. Or there will be heavy air levels and all the randomized towers are ground heavy. Why not allow me to pick what towers, road or upgrade I want when I want. No point in spending money when I don’t even know if it will benefit me because of if I spend money getting towers upgraded I won’t even see it possibly because it won’t randomly be generated during gameplay. I think this is to force you into buying gems to be able to reset the selection queue at the cost of gems. Not a fun game anymore due to poor choices randomly generated leaving you losing round after round. However, the Special Events games can be borderline unplayable because of bad balance. Every other Special Events game seems like that. I can barely get to the 1/3rd round of the series without getting blown up 2X because I won’t get enough guns at the start or for long stretches, or they’ll stack the waves with air units and I won’t see any air defense towers appear. So you just sit there twiddling thumbs while watching them pound your base.
