The app functions great but why does it need to send data to 148 partners and 78 ad partners? Would be five star if it was tracking free.

### ****- "Fast perfekt"
Die App ist als DB Mitarbeiter sehr gut sich zu orientieren. Es könnten aber nach und nach mehr Weichennummern etc. Integriert werden. Und wäre auch top wenn man direkt die Koordinaten beim antippen auf ein Standort rauskopieren könnte so ähnlich wie bei google maps.

Ich nutze die App im Profibereich, also in der Schienennetz-Instandhaltung. Als Kartenmaterial ist das in Ordnung und man kann sich damit behelfen. Ist für jeden halt selber die Frage zustellen, ob es nicht langt über eine Navigationsapp nachzuschauen. Klar sind die Schienen da nicht benannt, aber man kommt auch so zurecht.
So, da sind wir jetzt auch an dem Punkt der mich gewaltig stört.
Ich gebe die Koordination ein und sehe über Satellit schön das Gleis von oben ???
Und jetzt??? Ja, ich kann mir das anschauen & hineinzoomen…rauszoomen…besser als nichts.
Es fehlt aber eine Navigation zur Stelle und eine klar sichtbare Richtung zur Orientierung.
Das fehlen dieser Funktionen kostet bei der Arbeit viel Zeit. Über einen Layer könnte man auch die Regelfahrtrichtung anzeigen lassen und viele währen sehr,sehr froh darüber.

The the app‘s functionality’s great. It’s the perfect map for everybody who loves trains. 

But why does it have so many ad partners who want to collect all sorts of data?

I like that Railmap allows to opt out of data collection. But why is this opt out necessary in the first place? What data do these ad partners collect and sell? This data collection seems excessive for a paid app.

…und sehr praktische App, die jeder der mit der Eisenbahn zu tun hat kennen sollte. Durch das Update auch deutlich übersichtlicher geworden. Top! 

Cool wäre noch eine Funktion, mit der man Orte bzw. Betriebsstellen suchen oder auf der Karte abspeichern könnte.

I’m a rail enthusiast so seeing this app, I paid and bought it.
I should have read the reviews first … 
Overall, it’s nice to have an app that shows rails. 
BUT:
- there is no legend. what is the point in being able to toggle through different views of one has no clue what the colors mean, what the symbols mean
- there are no settings. measurements are in yards, which for anyone not in the UK just doesn’t work. either match the iPhone settings or give users the chance to set it themselves
There are a couple of other issues, but if these two (the first one especially) would be fixed, the app’s usability would be on a completely different level
As it is not, I don’t think that I’ll use it anymore. I’ve paid for > 100 apps over time and this is actually the first one I’d like to have my money back

Es lohnt sich, diese freie App zu installieren. Man kann im Zug sitzen und genau sehen, wo man gerade ist. Der Fokus liegt hier auf Schienenverkehr, wogegen andere Karten-Apps ja den Fokus auf Straßen und Wege legen. Dank an die Entwickler!

Wenn man als Eisenbahnfan unterwegs ist, ist diese App nahezu unverzichtbar, wie ein Navisystem beim Auto ( natürlich ohne Navigation, das brauch man bei der Bahn ja nicht 😊) 
Währe schön, wenn die App im Vordergrund bleiben würde, das ständige wiedereinschalten des iPhones nervt ein wenig… 
Und ja, eine Legende währe nett…
