### **--- "Algorithm is Off"
i really enjoy this game. However, and this is a big part of why I’m even writing this review, the algorithm used in game for the “parts” needed to upgrade the engines in game is off. Common parts are suppose to “hit” 45% of the time. That is not my experience. In fact, the “rare” parts hit 45% of the time while the “common” parts hit at the rate of the rare parts. The algorithm is messed up according to the data I’ve been keeping. It’s not a smooth bell curve as it should be. I’ve worked for gaming companies and had long conversations with the head of programming RE: gaming algorithms. I was the forward face of the company who actually taught everyone else how to play on behalf of the company. The game is fun; I enjoy it. Alas, algorithms appear to be off. There should be a smooth bell curve for the parts, but there isn’t. Makes leveling up the engines and hence the trains slow (and costly if you purchase the parts cases which is actually what I’m complaining about … you purchase the case, game says 45% probability of landing on common parts; it’s not what’s happening for me.)

I really loved all the aspects in the unique atmosphere of this game except it's been a very misleading experience that there's only 102 level levels to be played after completing the first three regions all the other regions haven't been Developed yet

So I thought this time I could just delete the whole game start over and maybe get all the extra engines that they didn't get the first time 

If you're able to get more regions than three, I'll be happy to upgrade you another two stars

Very similar gameplay as Train Station 2, which I had quit playing due to it becoming super repetitive and clearly focused on cash grabs rather than the gamer experience.  This game, though, is beautiful to look at with great sound and cool historical references. I actually find it super relaxing to play.

I have been looking for a game like this for so long! Even years! I tried the train station games and just couldn’t get the hang of it. But this one is perfect! The graphics alone make this game so enjoyable! They are not childish or cartoony, but lovely and real!  Thank you

My level dropped from 32 to 28. My online purchases for this period, inventory materials and Event progress not to mention time and effort are gone

First time playing “Train Game”, which is similar to a lot of other games. I like the graphics and some of the features, sounds/musics are good, too. After playing one week (level 24, right now), I realized you play the game about 5 minutes for every hour+: basically you pick up materials, load them to your factories and wait at least one hour or more to get your productions to be ready, then deliver them. There is an advertisings to help you with one of your production, every one hour ! Need more side quests or play another game for 55 minutes

I really wanted to like this game, but it needs some work. Initially, I was getting shutdowns pretty frequently when opening jobs or menus, that seems to have gone away. The main issue is navigating for resources. The map doesn’t direct link to the resource source, so you have to go to the general area and swipe around for 3 minutes. There is a pop up that says this shortfall is under development. I’ll check back later and see if it’s improved.

Love the game just wish it wouldn’t crash so much even with the latest version it still crashes constantly . Also with the event prices weren’t so steep I could see may paying half but $45 is a bit much for what you get . Also hate that almost everything takes an hour to deliver so yo get 2 mins of game play to send your trains then have to wait an hour for another 2 mins

### ***** "A great alternative railroad game"
As a previous player of Trainstation 2, I am finding that I really love Railroad Empire. It is clearly the same basic game engine ( perhaps the Trainstation 1 version ? ) but with vastly better graphics and more interesting play. I had abandoned Trainstation 2 because it was too repetitive and just not much fun anymore. Even though I am starting from scratch with Railroad Empire, so far I am loving it. 
I am a bit of a railroad history enthusiast and I also like exploration games such as Myst. Railroad Empire combines elements of both. The landscapes are stunning, more like artworks than game scenery. Any technical issues are minor. If you like railroad-based games or railroad simulators, you will definitely want to try put this one.

Was a long time Train Station 1 and 2 player.  My hope is they do not follow the greedy path of train station 2.  You can google the details, but I will watch this over time and change my review accordingly.

Unfortunately this one has ads, and will likely follow the model of train station 2.  At this point, I’d recommend sticking with train station 2.

Fun game. I’ve been playing TS2 for about 3 years. This reminds me of TS2. The graphics are great but remind me Railroad Tycoon. I’ll stay with it for a while and see if it gets better.

Now my forth review has come and I have probably said just about everything I had to say but I had one more suggestion to tell I like the realism of this game but there are some things I have noticed now don’t take everything I say personal simply because I am a train enthusiast and the kind that is a booger for realism that’s why I prefer this game to other ones like it but besides that I thought it would be nice to make the freight and passenger cars more realistic to American style cars since the game is located in the US I also thought as a side note to make train cars match the railroad they are working for thank you for listening to my ideas and suggestions for this game I know the game is still in early stages so hopefully this will help for new ideas but bye for now and great job on a great game

### ****- "Very fun but minor issues."
Love the game. Very similar to train station 2. But way less grinding involved. Makes it to where waiting is worth it and more engaging. The graphics and sound design are awesome. Wish train station 2 had this level of realism. Also using historic railroad cities and railroads was genus for using them as levels and building progression. Overall love playing and looking at the models.

Though some issues. The game crashes maybe 5 minutes or so in to playing wish it didn’t do that. Other than that a nit pick from me personally would be that the regular Hudson model could look better. Use the J1-E hudson that inspired Lionel trains and the railway community would look way better than the J2.

It’s nice how the game crashes every 60-90 seconds on me now. Played great until the event became available. Now it’s unplayable. I love doing the same task 20 times because the progress isn’t saved when it crashes. Maybe I’ll play again when it’s fixed.
