I closed this account in 2022 when I lost my rain SIM card, 2023 Rain deducted money from my account I then phoned Rain the person that was helping me said on the call they’ll close the account they don’t immediately end the contact that’s why they still deducted. Now I’m checking (2025) my account is owing again and in arrears how because I closed the account long ago…total scam!!!

Rain is unreliable! If you cancel your subscription, they’ll confirm with you that you won’t be paying for the next month, only for them to rob you of your money the next day!! They don’t answer their calls, only ever responding to you with an email promising that they’ll get back to you…

Can’t see my services to cancel, but I’m still told that my next payment date is coming up!

It won’t let you buy more anything!!! Takes you to a page that asks you which data, voice, or sms option you want. You can’t choose anyone expect for 1 gig for R10. And then when you choose it, nothing happens. No next page, no card options. It’s just stuck on the stupid option page. I think if they even fix it, I wouldn’t be stupid enough to put my bank card details in it. Also the 2 SIM cards they gave me can’t make or receive phone calls!

Cannot make any purchases with a card - it just displays a page with some html code. 

Tried to use the FNB pay option but it just takes you to an in-app webpage for FNB. Once you login with your FNB credentials it states you need the FNB app (which I have). Again - useless.

I have to log in to Rain via a web browser to make any purchases and top ups. The app is unusable.

Not quite sure how an app in this poor state can make it to public. Rain makes it almost impossible to use their services.
