## RainSoft® REMIND Reviews in United States

### *---- "Will not reconnect"
I’ve tried multiple times to reconnect this system after my power was disconnected for a little while. I follow each and every instruction and it still will not reconnect. I even tried emailing the company and they gave me the same instructions that is on the app. I guess I’ll have to check it manually because this app does not reconnect after it has been disconnected for a time and the instructions don’t help at all.

### *---- "Useless App"
This is really a useless app, let’s review why.
1. Provides some data points such as, last regen date, gallons used in the last 24 hours, estimated salt remaining.
2. System stats only provides gallons used to date - no running gallons count in real time. Average salt dose, volume used since last regeneration , date, treated since install, total gal used over 28 days.
3. Salt setting only gives you an option for vacation mode, regeneration start time, and salt fill level for the brine tank.
How could this app be awesome?
1. Provide a way for the consumer to adjust the hardness without going to the equipment in person.
2. Provide a real time
Gallons used ticker.
3. Provide a way to regeneration remotely.

If the two parts of this post were combined, i reckon this would become a stellar app.
However, I doubt they will ever improve this app as it stands.

### *---- "Great idea. Too bad it doesn’t work."
I really like the new RainSoft EC5 system and I thought the ability to connect from my phone via WiFi was a great idea. Too bad that no matter what I do in my efforts to get this unit connected it just will not work.
-- yugrotavele, 2025-01-30

### *---- "App not up to speed"
The app has some flaws

1) I should be able to detect a system on the app and connect to it. The app doesn’t ell me which system I’m connecting to. Today it connected to the water softener twice, not the conditioner

2) app should be a bit more user friendly

3) app is horrible

### *---- "Horrible app"
This is an embarrassment of an app. It’s 2024 and this is horrible. The system disconnects from internet ALL the time and it takes multiple times to get it to reconnect. And now it won’t reconnect at all. Seriously RainSoft, FIX THIS ISSUE!

### ***** "Works as advertised"
Rainsoft

### *---- "App does not work."
My EC5 system was recently repaired. Control panel was defective and was replaced. Re installed app on my iphone after 4 years as this app did not work after Rainsoft changed their servers in 2020. After 4 years I still have problems with the app. After numerous attempts to get it to connect to my home network all I get is a “registering account” message that does not go away and of course my EC5 system info does not display. I guess I will check my system manually as before. Sometimes software and hardware don’t want to work together……🤨

### *---- "Worthless"
After 6 years utilizing this app for remote monitoring. You upgraded to the point of failure. After multiple attempts. Wouldn’t allow my app to link to my home network. Making it worthless. I deleted the app and am attempting to download again.

### ***** "Great softener!"
My rainsoft system is great! Not sure why anyone has a problem with this APP. I love it.
-- Techpowerlady, 2024-12-05

### **--- "This app is a joke"
RainSoft developer has not kept this App updated as it is constantly freezing on me. The water softener and reverse osmosis work seamlessly. Only this app makes end users disappointed.
