Needs higher volume
I love this app but even at the highest volume in app my music drowns out the rain, wish I could turn up rainy mood more

amazing
truly a wonderful and relaxing app
Long time website and app user, still holds up
I’ve been a user of the website since around 2008/9 and loved it, I downloaded the app as soon as I learned it was a thing way back when it first was available on the App Store. I’ve continued to use it ever since then. Great for using as white noise to sleep to especially as I suffer with tinnitus, the new additions in locations are fantastic and I hope in time more are added. Love it!
Excellent!
So easy to use, and there are so many different tweaks you can do to customise the sounds- birds, thunder, waves, waves, people and more can all be added and subtracted to the soundscape with a single touch of the apps slider. The app takes up almost no space on your phone, and I have it running in the background when I write to aid concentration. I expected I would use it a few times and then get bored with it- I'm quite fickle when it comes to apps and I like to try the shiny new things! But this app has become a firm favourite and stuck around because it's so simple to use, and really well designed. I love it!
Rain + Music is amazing
Love the background noise but what’s particularly awesome is being able to have the rain or surf as a background to your music. Just adds a whole new depth to experience. Something about the background noise over the music adds a new richness and helps me enjoy the music even more. It’s also more soothing as it occupies the whole spectrum of sounds all in one go allowing my brain to focus on the task at hand. The one thing it needs is a master level. It’s great to be able set the balance of different sounds but I would love to be able to set the overall volume separately.
Love it but...
I’ve had this app for ages now and I do really love it. I just wish that when playing it would appear in my music dock area on my phone, so I can then link it to my speaker in my bedroom - as right now I can only play through my iPhone. I know I can play with music but you can’t then change the volume of the sounds and I also just like listening to the rain on its own.
Brilliant
Everything is absolutely perfect. Especially being able to play this with music. Completely new experience. Perhaps look into adding a forest sort of atmosphere with fire cracklings, crickets, rain and thunder. That would really be amazing
Desperately needs an update
Had this app for a long time now but it’s just not keeping up with the times and other apps that are free are now offering more variation of rain sounds and more customisation. There’s only 4 different rain sounds to choose from, of which most you can hear loop after a short time which is quite annoying (Classic is subtle rain and then loud once it loops). A big update with a lot more rain sounds, especially gentler, softer rain would be great in my eyes and justify it being a paid app.

Absolutely brilliant app. I struggle from being an extremely light sleeper and when I’m up, I’m up. This app helps drown out distant noises inside or outside the house that may wake you. Great to go to bed listening to and keep you there until your body decides to wake up. Unlike music with lyrics and off beat instrumentals, this is a great tool for keeping yourself isolated when need be; such as when reading or writing, this app helps drown out unnecessary background noise. Love it!
Calming as ever
I love this app I used to listen to rainy mood on my desktop but now I listen to it on my phone. It really helps me with journaling or reading it makes me feel like I’m concentrating and relaxing at the same time
