My experience has been very good so far. The app is simple to use, I have opened 2 savings accounts with no issues and no hassles. Very impressed.
Useless by design. Customer support non existent on purpose if anything going wrong (and it will as that’s the aim) which means money tied up in it creating interest they’re pocketing rather than you. Avoid.
As with the other 1 star review. They have had my money for a week now in a holding account. Looking to get my money back
Generally they offer competitive rates however be warned that the app is confusing and not intuitive. They give directions which don’t apply to the app as they’re referring to their online account. Also they hold onto funds for 3 working days when making transfers. If you open a new account and fund it from another of their accounts your funds will disappear for a day or 2 from the account and show £0 which is very disconcerting.
I submitted an application to open an account but no progress has been made. Their response time to messages is horrendously slow, and I still don’t know why they have open my Raisin account
Very easy and fast to understand straight to the point
Not to mention the withdrawal takes more than 2 working days. Also the close the account button is somehow not available to me - this makes me worry loads! I will not recommend Raisin Bank to anyone !!
Considering making a complaint to the FSA. Transfers leave your bank account immediately (of course they do) but withdrawals can take up to a week. Apparently it takes 2 business days for funds to start making interest. Why? The banking system operates 24/7, do they have people employed Monday-Friday to process payments manually? Deposit on Friday and you can be waiting till the following Wednesday for funds to appear. Where is it in the meantime? This is not Easy Access in any shape or form. Customer services are unresponsive.
the app only asks for registration and not log in and so I can’t use it
I have had over £400k with them across various products. All transactions and dealings have been unsatisfactory, except when they want money from you. Today I needed to withdraw £25k The app stated I could only withdraw £10.136.87. Why that amount? I have absolutely no idea. I called them. After the Recorded message (repeated) automatic voice said 5 minute wait time. 15 minutes of waiting I hung up. Transfers take at least 2 business days (not the same day that nearly every other bank or broker offers). Why it takes 2 days is beyond me. I’ll continue to write honestly about them until they sort their service out. Poor. Very poor.
