Raivo Authenticator

Does what it promises, much better than authy, m$/google authenticator etc.

Raivo was sold to another company without notifying users in any way. The next update made all users lose their tokens causing massive issues. The new owner also put export and import behind a subscription paywall. Very disappointed! Switched to Bitwarden Authenticator

I just needed to recover my keys. I have no idea why I needed to do that. I have not uninstalled Raivo or done anything to reset my phone, but suddenly Raivo was just reset. Very weird. It’s a good app otherwise.

Sold to a shady company.

This has been a fantastic Foss app, and now it has been ruined and cherry on top, all user data gone. Never coming back to this disaster!! You sold your soul raivo!

App has been changed to a subscription-based model w/o warnings. Also all keys are gone. Goodbye.

Raivo means anger in Finnish. You really need urgent QA before releasing any new updates.

I woke up and found out Raivo had been updated. All gone. While searching what happened I found out the original developer had sold the app to shady company. Nice! It is what it is. Money runs everything around us. Avoid this app by all means!

I no longer consider raivo a good option. new items require a subscription and the app was stealthily sold which is suspicious.

I wish I could give zero stars for the sheer catastrophe caused by the latest update of Raivo Authenticator, which somehow morphed into "Raivo Debug" without my consent or any prior warning. Following the auto-update, the application refused to even start. After several frustrating attempts and endless loading screens, it finally opened, but to my horror, all of my OTP passwords were gone. Vanished! This is an absolute nightmare for anyone relying on this app for secure access to their accounts. I had trusted Raivo Authenticator with my most critical information, and now I'm locked out of several accounts, scrambling to reset things, which is a security risk in itself. The lack of any support or response from the customer service just adds insult to injury. I am beyond disappointed and would strongly advise against using this app. If your data means anything to you, steer clear of Raivo, unless you want to risk losing access to everything like I did.
