## Ranked Choice Description
Stop arguing about where to eat. Ranked Choice: Group Vote lets any group make fair, decisive decisions using instant-runoff voting — a proven, fair voting method trusted by groups everywhere.

Create a vote, share a 5-character code, and everyone ranks their preferences. The app eliminates options round by round until a clear majority winner emerges. No tie-breaking arguments. No "I guess we'll just do whatever." A real winner, every time.

**Split a group across several options:**
Some decisions are not about one winner — they are about who goes where. Give each option a size, and Ranked Choice divides everyone into groups, keeping each person as high up their own ranking as it can:

• Carpools — riders into cars by seat count
• Classrooms — students onto project topics or lab benches with caps
• Conferences and workshops — attendees into breakout rooms
• Work offsites — staff across team-building activities
• Volunteer shifts — a minimum and maximum per slot
• Restaurants — a large party across tables
• Hackathons — people onto projects with team-size rules
• Sports — pickup teams, courts and tee times
• Summer camps, seminars, small groups, hotel rooms, bunks

Pick "best overall" or "no one left out", and give an option the size it works best at when it has one.

**Everyone adds their own options:**
Collect ideas from the whole group first — three each — then vote on what came in.

**Pass the phone:**
Not everyone in the room has the app. The host enters ballots on one device, one person at a time, and the results show which votes came in that way.

**Works anywhere your group is:**
Vote together in the same room over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, or host votes over the internet with a join code or QR scan — no accounts required for anyone.

**Instant-runoff voting, the right way:**
Voters drag options into their preferred order. The engine eliminates the least-popular choice each round, redistributing votes until one option has a majority. Live results update as votes arrive, with a full round-by-round breakdown when voting closes.
