## Rate Guard Description
Stop turning easy runs into hard runs.

You head out for an easy Zone 2 run. Ten minutes in, you've drifted into Zone 3. Twenty minutes in, you're basically running a tempo — and you finish tired instead of fresh, with none of the aerobic base you
  set out to build.

Rate Guard is the tap on the wrist that catches it the moment it starts.

Set your target heart-rate range, start your workout, and Rate Guard watches your heart rate live — turning your whole screen green, yellow, or red and tapping your wrist the second you leave your zone. No
menus. No tiny charts. No raising your wrist to find out where you are.

YOUR WATCH ALREADY SHOWS HEART RATE. THAT WAS NEVER THE PROBLEM.

  • Your watch shows heart rate as one number among dozens. Rate Guard makes it the entire screen.
  • Your watch makes you raise your wrist and read to know where you are. Rate Guard taps you the moment you drift.
  • Your watch reports what your heart did after the run. Rate Guard keeps you in range while it still matters.

Knowing your heart rate and training by it are not the same thing.

  HOW IT WORKS

  • Green — in zone, hold it
  • Yellow — approaching your limit, ease off
  • Red — outside your target range

Haptic alerts tell you when to back off or pick it up, so you can keep your eyes up and your effort controlled without checking your watch mid-stride.

MADE FOR TRAINING THAT LIVES OR DIES BY STAYING IN RANGE

Rate Guard is built for the work where one quiet drift up the effort scale undoes the whole session:

  • Zone 2 training
  • Aerobic base building
  • Recovery runs
  • Long, easy endurance efforts

It works with any Apple Watch workout — running, cycling, walking, intervals, strength — but it earns its place when heart-rate control is the workout.

  FEATURES

  • Live, full-screen, color-coded heart-rate zones
  • Haptic alerts as you approach and cross your target range
  • Large, glanceable BPM display built for motion, sweat, and sunlight
  • Time in zone, average and max heart rate, distance, pace, calories, and elapsed time
  • Outdoor route and distance tracking when location is enabled
  • Workouts saved to Apple Health
  • Simple setup with customizable heart-rate thresholds
  • Designed exclusively for Apple Watch

  APPLE HEALTH

Every workout saves to Apple Health with the metrics that matter for zone training — including how long you actually stayed in range. Outdoor workouts can record route and distance when location access is
  granted.

No accounts. No social feeds. No clutter.

Just your workout and your zone.
