Ravit is a fun app that enables you to discover inspirational patterns and yarns, update your projects and stash and browse and post to Ravelry forums from anywhere. It's super quick, and it's friendly. Ravelry on mobile has never been easier.

FIND INSPIRATIONAL PATTERNS
If you’re not sure what you’d like to make next, Ravit lets you easily browse patterns, favorite them, download and view pattern PDFs, view project photos and browse a designer’s other patterns and pattern suggestions.

And if you want to narrow your search, choose from dozens of filters including craft, availability, category, attributes, needles, weight and more. You can even combine multiple options with AND, NOT or OR. It's powerful, but easy.

TAKE RAVELRY TO YOUR YARN STORE
Find out which yarns you’ll need for a project. Check what yardage you need. Look in your stash to see if you’ve already got a yarn, or one that’s similar. And because Ravit is designed to work nicely on your iPhone or iPad with readable text and buttons you can tap, you won't be squinting as you find all the info you need when you're at your LYS.

+ Search all yarns by keyword, filter by fiber, weight, attributes and many others, and sort by options including 'Most projects' and 'Highest rating'. Quickly view pattern suggestions and projects for a yarn.

+ Access your stash offline. No wireless or cell signal in your yarn store? No problem! Your stash is cached on your device so you can search, sort and view your stash offline.

Superb app

I love the app and use it every day. I struggle at home because our home WiFi signal is dicky which makes the app struggle, but with a good signal it’s wonderful. I use the app to update my projects and stash as the photo handling is so easy - much better than the full version. My only gripe is that I don’t appear to be able to search my stash. I would also prefer in apppurchases to go automatically to my library. But these are minor points in a spectacular app.

Useless

Never finds what you want when searching and doesn’t remember when you buy things through it. The fact it’s paid-for is ludicrous.

I prefer using this app over the official Ravelry website. So easy to access my pattern library and just browse. Keep up the good work!

It’s very good.

Lots of ideas and gives you inspiration and make adaptations to your own projects. Every pattern that I have used from the wonderful site has worked out so well. X

Good idea failed

I couldn’t wait to buy the app only to find I can’t access my library! I still can’t believe I can’t I paid and it’s not there! Everything else great but not worth the money

Superb app but weird connectivity drops

I love the app and use it every day. However, I am finding that more and more often it stops downloading info, so I can only see one pattern pic and no detail. I have to reload the app. I don’t know if this is an app bug or my iPad but it’s a pain!

Not working

I downloaded the app today and now can’t get into any patterns, this message keeps coming up Response status code was unacceptable: 500 Please sort this for me or refund my money

Absolutely love it

This is a brilliant app, well worth the price. It means I can access all my patterns in the go! It’s easy to use, I can save, download and purchase patterns through it just like on the main site! Can’t fault it so far

Finally a Ravelry App I like to use!

I’ve used Ravelry for years, my one criticism is the UI, although I give Casey & the crew massive kudos for what they’ve achieved. I wasn’t sure whether to pay for this app but I’m glad I did! Super work, I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops over time.
