Depending where you live, you need critical mass for this sort of thing to work. I live in NZ and there would be less than 30 girls on it, given it’s so small nobody finds anything or checks back in regularly, and the system collapses with no chance of any momentum. It’s such a waste of money I’m surprised they haven’t given a free promo or credit for areas without sufficient numbers.

Three-plus years later, I’m still on their “waitlist.” I'm pretty positive this app isn’t real.
Guys will reach out to me on Instagram and say they like my profile but I didn’t see theirs come up on Raya. A lot of matches don’t even write you and it’s the case with most people I’ve talked to, but the quality of people is great.
Been waitlisted for 2 years now. I am a huge celebrity too. No support when I emailed them 100s of times. So badly I wanted to be a part of the app, but sick of this wait… just crazy. Raya, seriously please help?!?

I’ve tried this app out many times over the last several years and it’s min blowing to me; especially in comparison with other dating apps, how little it seems people are actually looking to connect. I’ll match with up to 15 men and then not a single one messages me or replies to my message if I reach out.
