Used to use the Kerrang! App all the time and worked fine in my car until they pulled it, now this never works it’s just the worst

Keeps cutting off after 1 minute

I was invited to download this as replacement for Absolute radio app. However it doesn’t support Chromecast. How can they release it without this basic feature?

Whenever I use the app. Something starts in the background and keeps running down my battery in no time. This suggests malware. It also keeps disconnecting at random. I see all replies from developer are a boilerplate statement saying thanks for feedback we want to help. But it gets no better. I have being trying to use app from the start and after many updates it’s not fit for purpose. Goodbye back to BBC or another serviceable app.

Simply will not open

The app is very frustrating, it logs you out about every 10 days and you have to reset your password because your saved password mysteriously doesn’t work! So you have to create another password and start over again! Then it picks its own station so you need to select your last station when you switch on! Then it changes your region because you live on a border of two counties and it thinks it knows best! The radio is great the app is terrible! Sort it out Rayo

Better off putting a seashell to your ear!

Use the app on iPad. Everytime I use the app to play live stations and then go into another app or if the iPad locks the music stops making the app useless for me.

I can only imagine that Absolute radio or their owners Bauer Media let one of the interns design this app. You will be happily listening to your chosen station and suddenly it will switch to one of the other Absolute stations like Absolute 60s. Now I know what I like musically and I hate that it keeps switching from the main station to the other Absolute stations, even though I never selected them. Worse is you have to keep closing down the App and restart it otherwise it struggles to load. Bear in mind I have super fast broadband and a WIFI mesh network and never had issues with the previous app or other stations. I use TuneIn radio app for other stations without issue, and frankly I listen less and less to Absolute now as they make it technically difficult to enjoy. Bauer please sack whoever’s in charge of App development.

Keeps dropping out and closing app!
