## RCA House Points Description
Welcome to the official interactive mobile app for the Ron Clark Academy House Points System. The Ron Clark Academy House System is a dynamic, exciting, and proven way to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff. Using RCA’s methods will help your school or district confidently implement processes that build character, relationships, and school spirit. Our guidelines are designed to give you a streamlined framework that can be applied to various learning environments. The RCA House Points System supports the RCA House System — both work together to create a fun and healthy competitive spirit amongst the Houses. Points are collected throughout the year by each student (counting toward their overall House’s score) to help
determine the champions at the end of the year.

The Ron Clark Academy House Points mobile app is a great new tool that:

* Allows teachers and staff award points to a student or house for academic excellence, character, performance, school spirit, and much more.

* Allows parents to view a historic log of points earned by their child.

* Gives parents the option to receive notifications telling them that a teacher or staff member has awarded points to their child.

* Allows staff to include a note telling the parent why the student earned the points.

* Allows parents to celebrate their child’s achievements after school.

* Allows parents and staff to view a scoreboard of points earned at their perspective schools.

* Also allows parents and staff to view the national leaderboard for RCA's four Houses.

## RCA House Points Reviews in United States

### **--- "Can’t stand this app"
This app is clunky and counter intuitive. Really disappointed our school is using fundraising money for this program. Hard to navigate, frequent bugs and issues within the app. It’s just awful. I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 because I appreciate the effort and focus on reinforcing positive behavior but the app itself is worthless.
-- KMac in effect, 2024-03-20

### ***** "I LOVE the update"
I am a student using this app to track my Housepoints and there was a design update and I love it background 10 out of 10 design 10 out of 10 and it is so much more organized so overall keep it this way😀😀
-- mermaid Toca Boca, 2024-03-14

### ***** "Easy to Use"
This has been a game changer for our school! It simplifies the process of awarding points, has great graphics, and is easy to use. This app has transformed our school culture, making it feel more connected and supportive. Highly recommend it for any school looking to boost student morale and parental involvement.
-- C_Major__, 2024-03-06

### **--- "Crashes and freezes too much"
I’ve had to delete this app and re-download several times due to app not working. It either randomly closes when in use, or freezes up with a black screen. Not impressed.
-- NicknamesSuck777, 2024-02-14

### ***** "Love It!"
For someone who loves to know everything with a push of a button this app is the best. Love seeing the reason why the student was given the point(s).
-- Yelena Gaston, 2024-01-23

### ***** "Amazing"
This is a great interactive app to keep parents and kids engaged
-- Cadallac 2020, 2024-01-10

### ***** "Powerful, positive, and private"
My child’s school has been using this for the past 4 years and we LOVE this app so much. It makes us feel connected to the school and loved as a community! Getting an instant message about a positive note that happened at school helps guide our conversations on the way home. Students can track their own points, set goals, and choose rewards based on their preferences. The school pairs the app with displays throughout the campus that highlights great things happening and students pictures pop up throughout the day. Kids seeing their faces displayed for positive behavior is so motivating! They are continuing to add new features with each update and the ability to message makes this even more impactful.
-- JWamsley, 2024-01-10

### **--- "Good program, garbage app"
The house system is fun. Not entirely sure why the school needs to pay for something basically stolen from Harry Potter but that’s neither here nor there.

The app specifically is slow and annoying to use. It logs me out and I have to reengage a teacher to get me back in.
-- Unhappyuserstill, 2023-12-18

### *---- "Frozen Screen/Useless"
When the app was working it was wonderful for immediate point awarding. Unfortunately even after deleting, reinstalling, updating, repeating and contacting support nothing has changed. The app is useless if one cannot enter points due to a frozen screen. App support replied to my email initially and is now on radio silence. Very disappointing. This is the case on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
-- garch13, 2023-11-29

### ***** "This app is very nice"
Hi I’m 8 and my teacher has gave me 40 points In all. My teacher is very kind and I’m in St Juan Diego. I think one of the helpers in my school are in charge of this app. All schools should have this.
