RDU 98.5 FM is Christchurch NZ’s only alternative radio station, and it has now arrived on your smartphone!
With our app you can stream the station live wherever and whenever you like!* Plus you can give any of the last 10 most recently played songs the "Thumbs Up" which saves them in your app, as well as counting as a vote int our weekly Kiwi chart show, the Te Ahi Top Ten!
The app is also your gateway to loads of great discounts and offers in Christchurch City through our loyalty scheme, RDUnited! Use the app to at participating venues in Christchurch to receive wicked deals from some of our favourite places.
Features:
- Stream RDU 98.5 FM live wherever and whenever you want*
- 'like' songs as they are playing to save them to a "favourite song" menu. Also works for the last 10 played songs.
- Te Ahi top 10 page updated weekly with links to artist info and tunes where possible.
- RDUnited, RDU’s loyalty scheme, is now free and built into the app. Discounts available from participating outlets using QR code scanning feature.
- 'Spotlight' on 3 premium featured discounts each week
- Push notifications system with weblinks to let you know about new offers as they are added. (You can turn this off, of course!)
- Christchurch Gig Guide in-built and automatically updated daily with music events and activities around town - brought to you by Soundsgood guide.
- University of Canterbury Students Association uses this app to promote and offer discounts to students on and off campus.
