### *---- "These R the worst instructions I’ve ever read. Waited for phone assist & RACHEL HUNG UP ON ME."
Instructions don’t map to flow of words in ur book. Must return. No success. Am returning entire package w/no ‘sleep study’ able to be done. Terrible experience w/RACHEL & bad instruction book. I have an Apple PC/Rachel told me I had an Android-she is incorrect & not trained. Unable to do this sleep
 study. Will advise my physician.

If you are considering Pivotal/ReactDx for your sleep study ask your provider to choose a different company. This app is extremely buggy and unreliable to the point it isn’t usable. 

The after hours support line for those doing a study is a joke, and you will be on hold all night.

Unfortunately this just doesn’t seem like a serious company, and your health deserves better than an app they can’t be bothered to update and ensure works.

Complete waste of my time. I downloaded the app as I was supposed to night one as I was getting ready for bed and it wouldn’t even give me the option to record. I can see the device connected to my iPhone but the app, with very little interface, simply says there are no recorded tests and that there was an error refreshing and I should check my internet connection. I was already ready to go to bed and I have now spent an hour waiting on ‘after hours customer support’ and looking online only to find nothing about this issue. And now I see many, many people seem to have issues with no support to help found. They just expect the start recording option to be there and if it isn’t? *shrugs*. Thank god I haven’t actually paid for the thing yet. I will be informing the financial team of why tomorrow.

The data never sends and you always get an error. Called and they only said try to redownload the app. That didn’t work.

### **--- "Too unreliable, too cheap, too invasive."
Poorly developed test. AI is your medical professional. Gave a bonus star for trying something to improve patient care.

This is supposed to work by utilizing your internet and phone microphone along with a finger vitals monitor to provide a valid sleep apnea diagnostic. It doesn’t work well and you should question its results.

Operationally it’s relatively easy to use. They mail it to you with almost no discussion of how to use (directions are in the box). Turn on monitor and connect to your with Bluetooth. Turn on app and pressed record and approve it listening to you. It tries to match sound events such as snoring or stopping breathing that with vital events to say breathing stops X amount of occurrences for Y durations of time. An AI analyses the events. 

Too good to be true in this case. It specifically warns you not to have fans or white noise. Sounds like an AC kicking on or turning off would register as incidents. You should sleep alone for this. You should have the phone charging, pointed at your face, and right next to your face. A lot of environmental circumstances that aren’t accounted for or even controllable affect the results. There can’t be resolved because an AI can’t discern sound. No one listens to the recording— it’s just events. 

Beyond that, the issues I experienced, judging from other reviews, are common. Failed to upload. Recording literally disappeared and there was no way to restore it or try uploading it again. Try again. While you receive automated threatening text messages about returning the device you’ve had for two days. 

App is surprisingly invasive. It needs Bluetooth, WiFi, and access to your microphone. It can’t be that much more expensive to include a mic and an SD card if it is already this flimsy. 

I like the idea of using already available tools to cheaply and quickly do things, but given this is a medical diagnostic, I think quality and efficacy in real environments should be taken into account.

Tried using for two nights and both times there were problems uploading the data. Did several searches online and found no solutions. Came here to see reviews and noticed others have the same issue with uploading after sleep. So I’m packing up everything and sending back right away. Disappointed.

This app does not work!  I tried to call their customer service number 4 times.  Nobody answered even though it said I was first in the queue.  Left messages…..Never received a callback.  Don’t waste your time on this device!

Tried to use this for two nights, both times got an error when processing the audio before uploading. Support has no ideas other than to try again. Most likely I will send back without completing the test. Not ready for widespread use.

Update: called the support number on night three after not getting anything to work. They supposedly have night hours and I called in this time range. No one answered so I left a voicemail requesting a callback. I never received one. I sent the device back and will never deal with this company again.

### **--- "Terribly Unreliable"
The app has failed to process my sleep 3 out of 4 nights for my 2 day sleep study. Meanwhile, I'm getting texts from them telling me if I don't complete the study in time I'll be responsible for late fees.

Do yourself a favor and just get your sleep study done at home with equipment from your local hospital. This has been a colossal waste of time.
