Description

Reading World is a reading app for kids that can help your child learn to read faster, easier, and with much less frustration. This isn't just another "reading app", it is the only app in the world designed to teach with TIPS™, a revolutionary new system based on the Hebrew Method of reading instruction. In just a few minutes a day over a few weeks, your child can learn to read thousands of words on their own. In a few months, your child can transform into a reading superstar.
As parents, it was just too hard to explain to our kids that the ‘C’ in OCEAN sounds like “SH”, in RACE like an “S”, in CELLO a “CH” and a good old “C” in COOK. How about the A’s in A SMALL AIRPLANE OF ANGRY ARMY GORILLAS? That “A” makes six different sounds!!
Phonics is great. But it’s not enough. So we made something better. We made TIPS™.
TIPs are tiny accent marks, added to letters to help guide kids to the right pronunciation. We teach this explicitly, so kids learn a TIP™ for S making a Z sound or C making an S sound. Once they learn just 30 TIPS, they can sound out over half of the most important words in English. Because the TIPs™ are consistent, kids make almost no errors. They have a lot more fun and are more engaged in the learning process. And so they learn faster.
TIPS™ allows kids to explicitly focus on key skills of “decoding” words, without fear of failure. They learn explicitly the different potential sounds of each letter, knowledge critical to decoding words they come across outside of the Reading World.
Most important, TIPs™ are subtle. This means that as kids master reading with TIPS™, they are able to seamlessly transition to efficient sight-reading of traditional text.
The system is fundamentally based on a patent-pending algorithm, that was used to decode the entire English language, unlocking every spelling exception and organizing the TIPS™ Letters based on their frequency in English. This means we teach the important stuff first, and review it often, building an incredibly strong foundation for little readers.
By the time your child masters Level 5 of ReadingWorld, she will have the skills to read thousands of words. By the time she reaches Level 10, she will be able to read over 50,000 words.

Reading World Reviews

Like it but

I like this but these 2 problems with it. 1st it have free trails which many free buyers hate and 2 some sounds are basically hard to master because they sound the same like short I and long e sound the same so my child often get confused with the sounds. So it a good game but it needs to remove free trails and make letter sounds less confusing

Stopped working after I purchased the subscription!

My child played the game for a while and liked it so I purchased a subscription, now it doesn’t work at all. It keeps asking to get Mom or Dad to unlock the rest of Reading World by buying a subscription, which I did. I have tried basic troubleshooting, restarting my device, deleting the app and reinstalling, etc. This is frustrating, she was really into learning on this game!

Learning is fun!

I downloaded this game to supplement a remote start of preschool for my 3.5 year old. He loves it! The interactive game is fun and creates a real sense of achievement for him, as he levels up, and keeps him interested even if he isn’t quite getting a particular sound or letter. Graphics are fun and engaging. I’d recommend this to anyone with a child learning to read!

No longer a frustrated parent!

My pre K grandchildren have learned to read using the beta version of this new teaching method. Highly recommend.

This really works!

I’ve been using Reading World with my son for a few months (while the app was in beta), and this system is amazing. As a parent, there really isn’t any feeling like watching your four year old read. As an educator, I understand just how complex reading is. The system behind this game is incredible!!
